“Oh, trust me,” Dylan said with a laugh, “I’m treasuring.”
Eduardo stole her mouth from me and wedged his fingers between us, coaxing our girl to another peak that had both Dylan and me huffing and puffing from her body squeezing us so hard. The pressure on my knot set me off again and I pulled her hips down while pressing up into her.
It was truly unfair how incredible she felt.
I needed her. More than I had ever realized. I’d gotten so used to driving myself forward each day toward accomplishments so I didn’t have to sit with my feelings. But I was tired. Charlotte had led me to the light, and now that I could immerse myself in our omega, the years were catching up with me.
All four of them were dragging me out of that cave, or perhaps they were merely stopping me from crawling back into it. The darkness wouldn’t be the same anymore anyway, not with them glowing like stars, and Charlotte shining through it like auroras dancing in the night.
“Come on back, Rain-Beau.” Dylan patted my cheek until his face came into focus. “There we go. Where did your brain wander off to? I felt you slip away.”
“Just processing.”
“I don’t know how you can do that when you’re balls-deep in our girl, but kudos, I guess.”
I chuckled, letting his playful warmth fill me alongside our omega.
Eduardo kept Charlotte trapped on our knots for what felt like hours. By the time mine finally deflated and she was able to slide off me, I was so sensitive I could hardly breathe.
The shower washed away the layers of sweat, and I stood under the hot spray until I felt like I could take a step without my knees buckling.
Dylan joined me, parking his ass on the shower bench. “Doing okay?”
“For the most part, yes.”
“How long has it been since you ate?”
I shrugged.
“Go get some food. We still have a few of Eduardo’s meals in the fridge.”
“I suppose I should.” At the mention of food, my stomach growled obnoxiously.
“Definitely,” Dylan laughed. “Get on that and quit hogging the shower.”
“I’m hardly hogging it. There’s room for five in here.”
“I don’t wanna crowd you. You’re not used to being butt naked with other people.”
“It’s fine,” I promised. “I have to get used to it sooner or later.”
Dylan’s green eyes twinkled. “Does that mean you’re planning on sticking around?”
“I have to organize a few things, but yes.”
“Hot damn!” He clapped me on the shoulder with a grin. “I knew she’d hook you.”
“I knew it too,” I confessed.
“Think she’ll be mad about the other bonds?” he asked.
“She didn’t feel mad about it when she was lucid for that brief time. She had to have felt you and Eduardo in there.”
Dylan chewed his lip. “I guess that’s true.”
I stepped out of the water and wrapped a towel around my waist. “All yours. Do you want me to warm you up some food too?”
“I was going to goblin-eat it cold with my hands, but warmed up sounds good.”
