“Last relationship and why it ended.”
“Oh, so we’re going for the hard questions tonight? Okay...” she throws a shot back, “Felix. He ended it because he thought I wasn’temotionalenough.” She laughs but I don't. I make a mental note of Felix and think of original ways to dismember him.
“Why did you help me?” Her question shifts the energy.
“I have a problem,Slasher, I can’t let injustice go.”
“Yet, you have no problem killingcops.” She looks around, whispering the last word.
“Because they’re dirty pigs.” I shrug, “I’m far from perfect but I don’t try to be.”
She takes a sip of her drink.
“What are you going to do, Rue?” I ask.
I want her to tell me, in her words. I don’t want to assume what she wants, I want to hear it come from her mouth. The same mouth I would die to have on my cock.
She stares at me, then closes her eyes for a moment. “I won’t rest until they’ve all had a taste of my venom. From their leader, to their watch dog. I want every pound of meat pulled from their bones as they kneel before me, begging for death.”
My cock springs to life at the way she describes her thirst for revenge, and I cannot think of a time I thought a woman to be so powerful.
“And as for my parents...” She takes the last shot, “I think it’s time we introduce them toSlasher.”
Chapter Eight
Rue Bennett
Slipping in from the back door, I don’t even bother glancing around to see who’s here because in my mind, it’s just me and my parents. I couldn't understand why they would be involved with the scum of the Earth when Elias told me they’d been funding these criminals but as I look back, everything starts to make more sense.
My parents are wealthy, but they were never as involved as others in my life. They left me home alone since I was twelve to fend for myself as they partied and came home in the early hours of the morning, did coke in the fucking kitchen like crackheads before business meetings and did not attend my school functions once. Not even when I won the state title for sprinting.
“Mum and dad have a very important business meeting with very important people, dear. They’re sorry they couldn’t make it.”
Our housekeeper would rattle off the same fucking sentence.
Elias hands me the chainsaw and it weighs less than I thought it would. Chatter comes through the closed french doors as we approach the formal lounge, my palms beginning to sweat.I made sure to time this during the guard's changeover, that way we wouldn’t be interrupted.
“It’s like they just want more and more. They never stop,” my father says.
Kicking through the doors, they bang on either ends of the wall, their frightened faces looking from me to Elias.
“Darling?” My mother clutches at her chest.
“If you thinktheywant a lot, you’re not ready for what I’m going to want.” I turn the chainsaw on, the two buttons easy enough to operate with one hand.
My father raises his hands. “Rue, we can explain.”
“Explain?” I laugh, letting the manic rage take over me. “Young girls. Women. Children!”
The chainsaw in my hand vibrates as I step closer to them.
“The money you proudly sport on your wrist and hands might as well be covered with blood,” I spit.
“Rue! Listen to me!”
“I’m done fucking listening.”
I lunge forward and my mother screams, the chainsaw gutting her from the middle, her blood splattering over my face as my father makes a move to reach for his phone. Elias has him in a chokehold within a second as I twist the chainsaw, her eyes bulging from their sockets, the slick, warm blood coating my hands. She opens her mouth, but nothing comes out, her thick locks falling onto her face as I pull her intestines from her stomach.
