She faces me again, surging up on her tiptoes to press her lips against mine.
“Careful, princess,” I murmur against her mouth. “Seeing you in my jacket is dangerous. Turns me on.”
Lil giggles. “I have to go.”
I tug her back, capturing her lips in another deep kiss. I don’t want to let her go. Ever. “I can’t wait for tonight.” I nip at her bottom lip.
“Me neither.”
With one last peck, she’s gone, the door closing softly behind her. I run a hand through my hair, trying to calm the fuck down. But it’s no use. The image of her in my jacket, my number, my claim on her for everyone to see—it’s burned into my brain.
I glance at the clock. Around 8 hours until she’s back in my arms, in my bed. Until I can peel that jacket off her and make her scream my name.
I write my dad a text.
Sebastian: I will not break up with her. It’s time you accept that.
After a quick shower, I head downstairs to the kitchen. Connor hunches over his laptop with a bowl of cornflakes, and Brandon stuffs his face with a sandwich.
The former looks up as I enter, a smirk playing on his lips. “Just saw Lil leaving with your jacket, Bash.”
I grab a mug from the cabinet and pour myself some coffee. “Yeah, and?”
“Just wanted to say it’s about time, man. Good for your relationship.”
“Since when did you become an expert on relationships?”
Brandon takes another bite of his sandwich. “It’s like with me and Naomi.”
I scoff. “Naomi and you barely speak.”
“Baby steps, Bash. Baby steps.”
“Whatever you say, man.”
Connor glances up from his laptop, his eyes narrowed. “What about your dad?”
“He’ll have to accept it.”
“All that matters is you’re happy,” Brandon says.
That is what matters, and tonight, I’m going to kidnap my beautiful princess. We’re long overdue for a real date.
Chapter 37
Lilian
I run my hands over my red summer dress, the soft fabric brushing against my skin. My black boots tap in time with the music playing softly in the car. Sebastian’s jacket is draped over my shoulders, his scent wrapping around me like a warm hug, while a blindfold is tied securely over my eyes.
“Are we there yet?” I ask.
“Almost.” His fingers caress my bare thigh. “Relax, princess. You’ll love it.”
“Promise?”
“Promise.”
The last few weeks have been really good. Sebastian and I have become an actual couple. It’s surreal.
