His brows lower and he growls, grabbing the back of my head as he leans in and says against my lips. “You wanna watch him get sucked off, baby girl?”

“I-I,” I stutter and his eyes shutter.

“That’s what I thought. Jail-fucking-bait.”

I admit, I looked up the word after the last time, which is why I say, “I’m eighteen.”

He huffs out a breath and grabs my hand, pulling me through the main area and down a long hallway. It’s darker here, with a series of doors all closed.

My feet ache in the tall boots and I’m sure I look like a rooster trying to walk in them, which is why I sigh in relief when he stops at the last door and flings it open.

It’s a room with a king-size bed, dresser, and not much else. It smells of him though and I breathe it in as I step inside, my eyes glued to that bed.

It’s big enough for both of us.

“Stay here,” he says, and I turn in time for him to close the door in my face.

Shoot.

Chapter 10

Wolf

I’m still trying to figure out how I ended up back at the clubhouse without having completed my mission and with a pint-sized, sassy woman in tow.

If my dick wasn’t pressing painfully against my pants, I would have stayed to interrogate her. What the hell was she thinking and why didn’t I take her the fuck home?

I blame my dick for this one because I was already on the road to hell when I caught sight of the slingshot covering her chest. It’s the fucking boots that did me in though.

Pretty little Lilli stood before me with kissable lush lips and a wide-eyed stare while I fought every instinct screaming at me to fuck her on my bike.

Only the partiers fleeing all around us brought me back to my senses.

Except now she’s here and in my fucking room. Miriam isn’t here and I’ll have to call Duke to bring her around tomorrow.

What the hell am I supposed to do until then?

Joker approaches as soon as I hit the bottom of the stairs and even though I glare at him in warning, he still glances up the stairs and asks, “Who’s that?”

“Don’t fucking ask,” I bark, heading for the bar.

Toni flashes me a pretty smile and I consider her offer before tossing it aside. Anything but the sweet slide between those silky thighs that awaits me upstairs if I have a mind is gonna cut it tonight.

Good thing I have more sense than to fuck the reverend’s daughter.

When Joker sits on the stool beside me, I scowl and accept the glass of whiskey Toni slides my way.

Nodding my thanks, I slam it back as Joker says, “I’m guessing you didn’t find anything.”

Oh, I found something alright but I’m sure he’s not talking about Lilli. Instead, I say, “Barely got there and all hell broke loose. It was impossible to find shit with all those assholes running around.”

Only partially true because I never got around to looking but I shove the burn of guilt aside. I couldn’t leave Lilli there. If someone found my fucking sister, Rose in a dangerous situation like that, I’d expect them to do the same.

At the thought, visions of Rose’s disapproving eyes pass over my vision. Rose is my half-sister. Ten years my junior, Rose came into this world at a time when I was still coming to grips with my world. My grandfather had just died and my dad as VP was more my boss than a father. While I admired MC through and through, I still struggled to define who I was amongst themen who risked their hides every day for the brotherhood they swore into.

I’ve never questioned my duty either and to this day, when I consider the brothers who stand by my side, I think of my grandfather Bub, who was a loyal motherfucker, all the way to his end.

Torn from my thoughts when my phone rings, I show Joker the caller before answering. “Got anything, brother?”
