“You look good enough to eat. Literally.” Landon reached me first, landing a heated kiss on my (hopefully) kiss-proof lips.

“The only eating you’ll be doing is cake,” I told him, taking in his bottle green shirt, dark jeans, and leather jacket. He looked and smelled amazing. They all did.

Cassian wore a charcoal suit with a pink shirt unbuttoned at the neck. Kyril was decked out in black pants and a black shirt with the sleeves rolled up. Apparently, he was impervious to the cold, which made sense given he was born and raised in Russia.

Milo stood a step apart. He wore chinos and a pale blue sweater under a padded jacket. He’d styled his dark hair in loose waves. As I ran my gaze down his chest, his blue-gray eyes sparkled behind his glasses.

“You look beautiful,” he said when I drew close. “Like a gift I very much want to unwrap.”

“Maybe I’ll let you unwrap me later,” I whispered with a grin, before searching for Dario.

“Where’s Dar?”

“Here.” Dar stepped out of a side door. Like Cassian, he wore a suit, but his was pale gray with a black shirt. God, he looked delicious. Like a mafia romance cover model, tattooed and dangerous. Black eyes took me in and then he smiled.

“Let’s go. The car’s waiting,” Cassian announced, drawing my attention from Dario.

Kyril slid close and stole my hand. “Not letting you go tonight, kitten,” he growled.

Landon scowled when he heard that, but he soon settled when I let him take my other hand.

Stupid possessive assholes. Tonight was going to be so much fun.

I almost rolled my eyes at the thought of having to keep them all happy but then decided it didn’t matter. If they wanted to bicker over me, I’d put them on a time-out. It worked for kids, so it would work for them.

By the time the car arrived to take us all back to Declan’s apartment, I could barely keep my eyes open.

It had been a fun afternoon and evening. I’d eaten way too much, but it was hard to resist so many delicious cakes. I never had been good at saying no to baked goods, and as I kept reminding myself, I was eating for two now.

I felt bad Verity hadn’t come with us, but the girls had had a movie marathon of their own planned, which involved binge-watching the Harry Potter movies. Verity was way behind on movies. She’d not seen any of the big blockbusters, so Aoife and Saoirse had made it their mission to ensure she got a thorough education in all things movie-related.

Kyril slid an arm around my waist and pulled me into his shoulder. The hum of traffic around us lulled me to sleep as the car cruised along. I woke briefly when we stopped outside Declan’s building, but someone lifted me up and carried me inside.

When we reached our apartment, I used the bathroom, stripped off, and slid between cool sheets. If the guys wanted a happy ending to their date night, they were shit out of luck.

It was still dark when I next woke with my head resting on Kyril’s chest. He lay on his back, fast asleep and snoring softly. A warm body sandwiched me from behind. Not Milo, though.

When I turned my head, it was Cassian. He opened his eyes and smiled.

“It’s early,” he whispered. “You should try to get some more sleep.”

“Hmm.” His hand slid over my hip and rested on my still-flat belly. The baby was no bigger than a pea right now, according to Google.

As Cassian’s hand crept higher, I tried to move away, but he pulled me backward.

“You better not be starting anything,” a voice grumbled from the bottom of the bed. When I lifted my head, I saw Dario sprawled out, half-covered by a blanket.

“Dar?” I didn’t expect him to be here. Landon, yes, but not Dar. He didn’t have the same relationship with the other guys.

“I didn’t want to leave you,” he whispered. “Not with Torrance still out there somewhere.”

There was no way Torrance would make it past the security in the lobby, but perhaps he had a point. Torrance was both resourceful and highly motivated. And also desperate. With my dad in prison, he’d be looking for a way to curry favor with someone like Marku. The best way to do that was to hand me over.

Cassian pulled me closer and all thoughts of Torrance left my head. It had been a while since we had sex. Too long. But having sex next to Kyril as he slept seemed all kinds of wrong. And also hot.

“Either fuck off or get involved,” Cassian rumbled in a low voice as his hand cupped my breast. “Your choice.”

Dar muttered a few profanities under his breath, but didn’t move. He watched through slitted eyes as Cassian gently eased the quilt down to reveal my now overheated body. I’d gone to bed wearing a slip instead of my usual shorts and tee. Cassian had bought me some nightwear and other essentials when herealized how few items of clothing I had, and I loved the silky fabric and jewel tones. This one was a deep magenta.
