“I’m not a sexual person.”
Trey grunted. “Have you ever had good sex?”
She could feel her face flush with embarrassment as she shook her head.
“You were married and had two children,” Trey said.
She nodded. “Yes, but it was more of an arranged marriage after a few years. I was there to take care of him and his mother.”
“What did you get out of it?” Garrett asked.
“I got my children. We also never had to worry about money. I was taken care of. By my parents, my husband, and his family.”
“Your husband was either secretly gay or had no normal male urges,” Garrett replied.
That had crossed her mind more than once over theyears, but she kept quiet.
“Can you give me a little time to think about it?” she asked, but then again, she didn’t think time would make a difference.
She wanted them but was too afraid to let herself try because she knew they could hurt her more than anyone had in her life, and she didn’t know if she was strong enough for it.
Chapter Twelve
Garrett stalked toward her with a look she could only call “feral” and “determined.” She held out her arms. “Wait. What are you doing?”
“We’re going to give you something to think about,” Garrett said.
She gasped when her back hit the wall, and then he was pressing his chest against hers. One of his hands curved around the back of her head while his other arm wrapped around her middle, keeping her pinned to him.
Before she could say anything, his mouth swooped down and took hers in a kiss so blatantly erotic she could feel her cunt pulse and contract while her cream slid out of her, wetting her panties.
She felt him lift and move her, but her attention was on how he made her feel. It was a sensation she’d never felt before. A moan slipped from her mouth when a hard, hot wall of flesh pressed against her back.
Trey’s mouth descended on her neck and started to nip and suck.
Oh, God, she was already so close to coming, and they had yet to touch her breasts or pussy. She tried to hold onto her sanity.
She was a moment from begging them when they both backed off. Fortunately, they kept their hands on her because she didn’t think her legs would hold her.
“We hardly even touched you, Baby,” Trey said against the back of her head. “We’re going to make you feel so damn good when we get our hands on you.”
Madelyn concentrated on slowing her breathing down.
“We’ll give you some time to think about it,” Trey said before he pressed his lips against the back of her head.
Garrett stared down at her. “We won’t wait too long, though.”
She nodded but kept her mouth shut.
When the door closed behind them, she sat on the edge of her bed. “What the hell am I going to do?” She was leaving in two months. What if she agreed to get to know them and she fell in love with them? She knew that could happen easily. They were such handsome, rugged men.
She was terrified if she let herself go, she’d be walking away with a broken heart, making her future seem even more desolate than it already was, and it scared her. When she took the time to think about her future, she knew it was going to be lonely. She was used to having people around, taking care of them, and being busy.
It looked bleak, but it was her life. She could decide to do anything she wanted and go anywhere she wanted. But nothing appealed to her now. She was still young and had time to decide where her life would go and how good it could be. It was up to her and no one else.
For the next two days, she avoided them as much as possible. She could tell they weren’t happy but couldn’t do anything about it. They were up from sunrise to sunset, working hard. She liked to watch from a window if they were working with the horses or just standing and talking. They were the most masculine men she’d ever met, and the more time she spent at the lodge, the more she wanted to give in to them.
The phone in her room rang, and she was almost tempted not to answer it, but she was always worried about one of her kids needing her.
