“Henrik?” Warren’s deep steady voice penetrated his thoughts. “Henrik, are you in there?”

“Yes,” he ground out.

The dragon quieted. He was pissed, but he wanted to trust in their mate. Henrik would trust in his mate. They would find their way back to each other.

“Whatever we’re doing,” Henrik growled, “I want to be first in line to rip anyone who stands in our way apart.”

Warren’s hand squeezed his shoulder. “There’s going to be plenty of vampires to tear apart.”

Cillian stepped through the back door just as Warren spoke. He held his hands up in surrender. “Aside from the ones on your side, right?”

Syrena smirked. “We make no promises.”

Cillian shrugged. “Fair enough. Sebastian called. He spotted Stefano with another vampire that fits Grey’s description.”

Henrik lifted his head. “Grey’s here.”

Cillian couldn’t help but smile. “He’s here. What are we going to do about it?”

Another form followed Cillian in.

“Levi?”

Henrik’s second oldest brother strolled in through the door.

He grinned. “Our brother king thought you could use a hand since you were stupid enough to find your mate in the middle of all this.” Levi didn’t look as much like their father as Ash and Henrik did, but they shared the same vibrant green eyes. Instead of Ash and Henrik’s dark hair, Levi had the same blond tresses as their mother, that he wore long and pulled back away from his face with a leather band. Although there was nothing delicate about the hulking dragon, Levi was a little more lithe, a little less bulky, than Ash or Henrik.

Not that it made him any less deadly when it came to a good fight.

Henrik moved around the table and embraced him. They shared a brief but tight hug. “I’m glad you’re here.”

Levi chuckled. “I was expecting you to tell me to fuck off.”

“Yeah? Maybe after this is over.” He clapped him on the back. “All right, Syrena, tell us the plan.”

Levi and Warren flanked Henrik. His dragon was still plenty furious and ready for a fight. He knew Levi and Warren were with him for one reason only, to make sure he didn’t lose his shit in the middle of the battle.

Henrik fought the feelings threatening to overtake him, but with every thought of Quinn within reach of Grey’s murdering paws, another wave of sick clanked down his insides like a boulder dropping down a stone well.

The need to get revenge and justice on Grey was always a powerful motivator. The entire Tourmaline Clan was thirsty for it. With Grey being overthrown, there was a chance they’d be able to put it behind them and move forward. Maybe they would accept Finley as their queen.

“Henrik, you have to keep your head clear in this fight. If you lose it, we’re going to spend more time trying to subdue you then taking care of the vampires,” Levi said. “I’m still not sure this a good idea.”

“You’ve got Syrena’s knockout powder if you need to take me down, but you’re not going to need it.”

For the middle of the night, on a golf course that was supposedly closed for renovations, there were still quite a few people milling about the club house. They’d discovered that Stefano owned it, or at least owned the owners. The club house was well down a winding road away from the main drag. It was difficult to see anything from the main throughways.

Henrik and Levi both turned to their right when they heard the familiar sound of a shift and felt the surge of Warren’s power. The Alpha wolf shook his fur out and then stepped into position. He was ready.

“Let’s do this.”

The three of them took off in different directions.

Henrik had the direct approach through the trees. He would be a distraction and he’d get to hit hard and fast.

Just what he wanted. People to rip apart.
