“Excuse me?” Who the hell did this guy think he was?

“Don’t play coy with me. It might be against the law, but I know there are some who have broken it.”

Finley sat back in her chair and glared at him. “Look, buster, I don’t know who the hell you are, but I think you should leave me alone.”

“You’re making her uncomfortable.” Another beast of a man approached. He grabbed a chair and sat in it backwards making a triangle between the three of them. “Hey, gorgeous. I’m Henrik Wystan. This is my brother, Ash. Forgive him, he’s an ass, but that’s just his personality.”

Ash rolled his eyes.

Henrik smirked and winked at Finley playfully. “What’s your name, gorgeous?”

“Finley Sawyer.” She had no idea what was going on. “Your brother seems to be pissed off at me for some reason.”

“Nah, that’s not you. It’s the bracelet.”

“He a jewelry nut or something? He bummed he didn’t get it first?”

Henrik chuckled. “Something like that.”

Ash glowered at her. “Her sister brought it from Brazil.”

“Interesting,” Henrik replied.

“There’s no way you can recognize this thing,” Finley snapped.

Ash’s eyes grew fiery with determination. “Why’s that?”

Her mouth sealed and she drew her lips together. She shouldn’t have said anything. What would these huge guys think, if she revealed that the bracelet looked completely different just a few hours ago?

Henrik extended his hand, palm up. “Can I see it?”

Finley desperately wanted the conversation to end and for the far too attractive men to leave her alone. Especially Ash. Everything about him left her feeling on edge. She hadn’t ever understood how people had sex with each other after only meeting minutes or hours before. She’d never been instantly attracted to someone. She preferred getting to know someone before she wanted to climb into their lap and ride them all night long.

But this guy, he made everything in her body lurch instantly with need. Her sex clenched when he glowered at her. The way his thick thighs were splayed, nearly trapping her legs between his made her feel hotter than alcohol and a hot Miami winter night ever could. She wanted to find out what the man could do with his mouth, when he wasn’t scowling about jewelry. She wanted to know how his lips tasted. More than anything, she wanted to crawl onto his lap and let everyone watch her ride him until they came screaming.

Finley’s cheeks warmed and her chest grew hot.

Where the hell had all that come from?

“Finley?” Henrik’s voice brought her back.

The bracelet.

She wrapped her hands around it and tried to pull it off. Once again, it wouldn’t budge. “It’s kind of snug and there’s no clasp. I’ve been dancing all night, I’m probably just a little swollen.”

Henrik chuckled. “I don’t think that’s it, sweetheart.”

Ash growled. “Stop calling her little pet names. She’s not yours.”

Henrik gestured at her. “Do you want to do the honors?”

“It’s not my heartstone. It’s not possible.”

Finley glanced at Henrik and then Ash. “Heartstone?”

Ash’s expression hardened. “Don’t worry about it. You shouldn’t be in a place like this with an item like that.”

“Is that a threat? Or do you think someone is going to mug me over my bracelet?”
