“Now you’re going to come just for me,” he told her. Easing his hand between her body and the floor, he found her abused clit and circled it with his fingertips. “Come, pet. Come really hard around your master’s cock.”

The orgasm detonated with enough intensity to make her scream. She bucked and arched, taking him deeper as rhythmic pulses contracted every muscle in her pelvis. Sensations sparked and streaked through her body, making her skin tingle and her toes curl. Her pussy tightened and her bottom massaged Diego’s cock like a fist. He thrust one last time then released, filling her aching bottom with his hot seed.

Lexie collapsed beneath him, sore, well used, yet utterly satisfied.

Easing out of her body, Diego heaved himself off the floor. Someone handed him a warm cloth and he gently cleaned up the mess he’d left behind. It was a nice gesture, but most of his seedwas deep inside her. It would take time and gravity to work its way out.

Diego rolled her over and then lifted her into his arms. He carried her to the bed and placed her between Kane and Malik. “I’ll join you shortly,” he muttered then ducked into the adjoining bathroom.

She heard water running and realized Diego was taking a shower. She was covered in cum and sweat. She should probably shower too, but she was so wiped out she could barely move.

“Sleep, love,” Kane advised, clearly guessing the direction of her thoughts. “We love the smell of our seed mixed with your arousal. You can shower in the morning.”

Too exhausted to argue, she snuggled in deeper between them and closed her eyes.

Elias felt his claws extend and his eyes burn as he gazed at Eugene Babcock. The old man looked pathetically frail and terrified as he knelt on the floor in between two of Elias’ hunters. The hunters had dragged Babcock into Elias’ office a few minutes ago, confirming the fact that the raid on the human’s camp had been a complete success.

“You still draw breath for one reason, and one reason alone,” Elias told him. “I have need of you.”

“I cooperate best on a full stomach,” Babcock replied.

Elias backhanded him, snapping the old man’s face to the side and bloodying his lip. “I’ll offer you food when you’ve proved to me that you’re worth feeding.”

“What do you need me to do?”

“Alpha,” Elias stressed. “You’ll refer to me as alpha. Is that understood?”

Babcock’s gaze narrowed and his eyes gleamed, but he muttered, “Yes, alpha.”

Elias studied his nemesis for a moment. This monster was responsible for the suffering of thousands. He’d conducted illegal experiments and mutated humans into four separate species of hybrids. He was reputed to be one of the most brilliant scientific minds in the star system, yet the hunters had found him half-starved and freezing to death in the forest. How the mighty had fallen.

Then another thought occurred to Elias. Babcock hadn’t asked about the attack. He hadn’t wondered if anyone was still alive and what happened to them if they were. Had he not seen the bodies of his colleagues, or did he simply not give a fuck? Babcock might be the most self-absorbed entity in the galaxy.

“Get him up,” Elias told the hunters, and they dragged the old man to his feet. Pulling one of the desk chairs to the middle of the room, Elias motioned toward it. The hunters shoved Babcock down onto the hard wooden seat then stood to either side of him. The precaution was almost comical. Did they expect this emaciated old man to make a run for it or try to beat the shit out of someone?

The human looked like a stiff wind could blow him over. Elias hadn’t realized that the lack of food had affected Babcock soseverely. Glancing at Armando, Elias said, “Go see if there’s any of that stew left from dinner. I need this fool to stay alive long enough to answer my questions.”

“I’ll be right back,” Armando promised as he slipped from the office.

Elias motioned the hunters out too. Clearly, Babcock wasn’t a danger to anyone, at least not physically.

“There are only two challenges that I can think of that I would be qualified to assist you with,” Babcock said without prompting. “Have your packs developed some sort of genetic disease or are you ready to procreate?”

Fucker thought he was smart. Elias felt his lips pulling back from his teeth and forced his mouth to relax. It was damn frustrating that Babcock’s first guess had been accurate. Elias was hoping to string him along for a bit, make him worry about the purpose for his capture. Well, fine. The sooner this bastard solved the problem, the sooner Elias could choke the life from his skeletal body.

“How many of the cats can trigger breeding mutations in females and can their nanobots be extracted?” If they weren’t going to play mind games, he’d get right to the point.

“Why are you asking about the cats? There were breeders among your people too. Three that I can think of off the top of my head.”

“Rydaria is a dangerous place. You of all people should understand that.”

Babcock nodded, looking slightly less smug. “None of the lupine breeders survived?”

Apparently he needed to hear it. “Yes, goddamn it. None of our breeders survived.”

“The answer to your question is twenty-three. However, I have no idea how many are still alive, and most don’t realize they’re breeders.”

What the hell did that mean? Armando returned with a bowl of stew before Elias could ask. He handed the food to Babcock and the old man started scarfing it down.
