“Oh,” she said. “What’s your answer?”
“That some women never give up.”
He was staring at her and winked.

GET YOUR GIFT
Angel drove to Coy’s after work the next day.
Friday night date at his house.
It’d been three weeks now that she could say they were officially dating.
Four weeks if she counted the weekend before, and she was. So a month in her eyes.
Angel was ready to take that next step and was shocked he hadn’t made the move.
Then she got thinking he was probably leaving it up to her.
Only she didn’t know how to take that next step having never done it before.
Which meant she was going to have to explain this to him too.
Talk about embarrassing.
But it’s not as if he wasn’t going to figure it out on his own.
There was no way she was going to say that she was still a virgin because she wanted to save herself for him.
That might come across as creepy since she never had any idea if she would be in this position, even if she’d always dreamed it would happen.
And it was! Booty shake.
She kept her bag in the car. No reason to bring it in and assume that he’d want her to spend the night. At least not yet.
She walked in the front door and saw him in the kitchen already cooking dinner.
He did it more than she did and she felt slightly inferior, but it was better to hang out here than at her tiny apartment.
“What is for dinner tonight?” she asked.
“Sauce and meatballs,” he said. “My mother gave me some and it’s been in the freezer so I just took it out.”
“I can handle pasta,” she said.
“Then you can do that,” he said, smiling at her.
A nice warm one that reached his eyes and made her think there was more behind it than a simple greeting.
Or maybe it was wishful thinking on her end.
She walked into the pantry to get the pasta and then turned around and came back out. She wasn’t sure she could just calmly sit there eating dinner while she was horny and wanted to have sex.
For the first time!
This was almost more nerve wracking than talking to Coy about the job here.
