“Sorry, I’m just getting on it. A few people said they aren’t available, but I have more meetings lined up.”
Most of our programs are after school programs which means they are tied into the school year. But the families we work with need help during the summer, too. So we do our best to organize summer camps that the children can attend.
“How about some young volunteers?”
“That’s who I’m meeting today.” I shoot her a smile.
“Great. Let me know when you have something.” She taps her fingers on my desk before exiting.
“Will do, Nats.”
I know she loves her new position as the boss, but she’s also under a lot of stress. A lot of people rely on the BYC and none of us wants to see it crash. Confident we’ll make it happen, I get back to work.
Just as Ienter my apartment, my phone vibrates with a text. My heart takes a little leap inside of my chest, and I pretend not to notice it.
Lennox:
Are you coming to Matt’s game?
Me:
You bet. I need to cheer my friend on.
By friend, I mean Connor, of course.
Lennox:
Oh, that’s how it is?
I see.
How about this… if I win, you’ll come to the club with me.
Me:
The club?
Lennox:
L&L. You’ve been a very good student, and I think you’re ready for a field trip.
Fuck. My nipples tighten as I read the text, liquid pooling between my legs.
Me:
I agree, Sir.
You just need to make sure you win, then.
I drop my phone as if it’s on fire, a squeal escaping me. My teeth nibble on the inside of my cheek and my face is probably beet red.
I never thought I’d be visiting a sex club, but lately I’ve experienced a lot of things I never thought I would. And they blew my mind.
Considering my body’s reaction to his texts, I’m equal parts excited and nervous. But the truth is I feel safe with him. Safe to flirt over texts, safe to call him Sir, and safe to let go. I know he’lltake care of me. Which, unfortunately, wasn’t a feeling I had in my previous relationships.
Not that this is a relationship. Not a real one, at least. We’re just friends who have mind blowing sex. Simple, right?
Right?
