Ray
“Goingto a party isn’t taking it easy, Ray,” Logan said gritting his teeth and running his hand through his hair, trying to remain calm, but clearly not doing a very good job. “Really, we can skip this one. Ghoul will understand.”
“Maybe, but we really need to be around other people before we kill each other.” I smiled, knowing it wasn’t him I was worried about. He was smothering me, watching my every movement, but he meant well. I couldn’t hate him for caring too much, however, it was foreign to me to have someone else care for me. Yet, it seemed the moment I arrived in Ohio, it was what everyone else was doing. Thinking back, even Dad was doing that as he laid in the hospital bed and helped me dream up my future. It didn’t matter how strong a person believed they are, they all needed help from someone else. Even when they were too stubborn to recognize it.
