I give her another kiss and meet the girls in the living room. Picking up a few of the books, I notice it’s mostly animals. I look over at Bianca when she plops down on the couch, and I show her the books with a raised brow. Bianca smirks and shrugs her shoulders. “They love animals.”

Taking out my phone, I shoot Cara and Sara a text.

Me: Can you bring Duke, Daisy, and Draco to my house?

Cara: You actually want my pets in your house? Who are you and what have you done with our brother?

Me: Ha-ha, smartass. I just found out the girls love animals, so bring your ass over here so I can score more “great dad” points.

Sara: Fine, but we don’t want to hear your mouth about fur being left on your carpet.

Me: Understood.

Clicking out of the messages, I think about what I’ve just done. I’m a bit OCD and it’s kinda gotten worse with having the girls here. I try and hide it for the most part, but, man, kids are messy. I normally pick up after them as soon as they make a mess. I knew from the day I found out about the girls I would have to tone it down a bit, so I have my mental breakdowns in the shower, like a normal human being.

Sitting down at the coffee table with the girls, I grab a book and open it. Naomi takes not one, not two, but three boxes of crayons and dumps them all over the table. Inwardly I cringe, but I manage to keep a straight face. We start to color, and every time I look up, the girls are staring at me, smiling.

“Daddy, you can’t use that one.” Mari giggles.

“Why not?” I ask in mock outrage.

“Monkeys are brown, not pink.” She giggles more.

“My monkey is pink, and we’ll name her Princess Pinky.”

“Daddy, nooo.” She laughs some more while trying to take the pink crayon from me. I pretend to be taken down to the ground by her and before I know what’s happening, all three of them are on top of me, trying to wrestle me for the crayon.

The sound of the front door opening has me looking over. Cara, Sara, Viper, and Bear walk in. They have the whole gang with them. It’s no surprise Bear has Eleana strapped to his chest. I swear that man never puts her down.

Cara’s triplets take off to the table to join the coloring mess and I glare up at my sister who has an evil grin on her face.

That wench!

She did this on purpose. My house is going to be a fuckin’ mess by the time she leaves. When the girls turn around and see Draco nestled in Sara’s arms, they get up to run for her but stop dead in their tracks when they see Duke and Daisy.

My girls cry out and turn back to me and cling to my legs like a lifeline. This isn’t unexpected. Most people have this reaction to Duke and Daisy. Great Danes are normally large dogs but these two are freakishly huge. I don’t know what Cara feeds them, but they come to her chest. I would guess they’re around a hundred and eighty pounds.

“Sitz,” Cara commands them. Duke and Daisy, being as highly trained as they are, sit without hesitation. Cara walks over to the girls and squats down. “Do you think Aunt Cara would bring bad animals to meet you?” she asks them.

“No,” Naomi mutters, still watching Duke and Daisy behind her.

“Those are my dogs, Duke and Daisy, and they love kids. Watch this. Khai, give Duke a hug.”

Khai abandons the crayons and runs over to Duke full force, wrapping his tiny arms around the beast. Duke starts licking all over his face while Khai giggles and accepts the impromptu dog bath. After watching for a few seconds, the girls run over and join in on the lovefest.

Duke and Daisy are great with the kids. They know they’re so much bigger than them, so they make sure not to trample them or make them fall. After about five minutes of Duke and Daisy in the spotlight, Draco jumps out of Sara’s arm and jumps on the coffee table.

“It’s a cheetah!” Nyomi exclaims.

Sara giggles before squatting down next to the girls. “He does look like a cheetah, but he’s actually a Savannah cat.”

Sara begins to teach the girls about Draco and his lineage. They listen intently while giving Draco rubs and scratches. The little hellhound eats up the attention, purring his little ass off. Draco only tolerates children. If I tried to pet that beast, he would scratch and claw me to death.

Viper comes over to me and hands Chase over when I hold my hands out. I join the girls on the couch and look over to see Bianca watching me intently.

“I think I just started ovulating,” she whispers to me.

Throwing back my head, I bark out a laugh and shake my head. I didn’t expect her to say that. I wouldn’t mind knocking her up if that’s what she wanted. She will no doubt have at least two more of my babies.
