“Losing,” he sasses back.
My mouth drops open, and I laugh hysterically. The dynamic between these two isn’t like anything I’ve ever seen in a marriage. They can talk crap to each other one second and tongue each other down the next. As if Vipers antics have really pissed her off, Cara attacks Capone with more determination.
“Dammit, stop pissing her off, Viper!” Capone growls as Cara sends two blows to his stomach and one to his face that he barely manages to dodge.
“Time!” Dice yells.
Capone and Cara instantly break apart and Cara drops to the mat on her back, breathing heavily. “Stop being dramatic, Cara.” Gunner laughs.
“Screw you. I just had a baby, asshole.”
The group laughs and Viper walks over to Cara and squats down beside her. When she looks up and sees him, her face breaks out into a bright smile. She pops up off the mat immediately and brings her lips to his. Viper chuckles against her lips but returns the kiss.
“If you’ve got enough energy for that, then you’ve got enough for another round,” Dice says, grinning down at Cara mischievously.
“No,” she whines. “I’m done for the day. You three seem to forget I have four kids at home. Three of whom I have to chase before they can pull any crazy stunts around the house.”
The guys laugh while Viper helps Cara up from the mat. Sara looks over and sees me standing by the door and she smiles. “Hey, Bianca, what are you doing here?” she asks, walking over to me. They must have had an intense workout because she and Cara are covered in sweat.
“I needed some space from, Cam.”
“Aww, hell, this seems like a conversation that requires wine,” Cara mutters.
“That would be correct,” I tell them.
“Well, let us take some quick showers and then we can go to Cara’s. You can tell us whatever idiotic thing he’s done.”
I follow them out of the gym and sigh in relief. I was kind of scared the girls would choose sides seeing as Cam is their brother, but they didn’t look annoyed or angry. I take that as a good sign. I need to vent to someone about this crazy man refusing to let me go to work. Cara and Sara will know exactly how to handle Cameron Romano.

BIANCA
“Ex-squeeze me? He said what?” Sofia hisses, rolling her neck.
After the girls took their showers at the clubhouse, we headed over to Cara’s house. On the way out, we stopped by Armor’s room to grab Sofia. I think we interrupted a good time. Armor was not happy with us. Once we all got situated on the couches at Cara’s, she popped open a bottle of wine and I told the girls all about the craziness Cam spouted this morning.
“Has he lost his mind?” Sara asks, shaking her head.
“He’s scared.”
Everyone stops and stares at Cara. Cam has no reason to be scared. He sends me to work with a miniature army. Nobody will ever get close. Finn snatching me was a complete surprise. Had I not taken out the trash in the first place, he would have never gotten his hands on me. We didn’t even know Finn was a threat to me.
“Cara, you can’t seriously be defending him.”
“I’m not. He’s dead wrong for telling you what he did, but you weren’t there when you went missing. Do you have any idea how we found you?”
Now that she mentions it, I don’t. I don’t have a clue how they got to me as fast as they did. I don’t even know how long he had me since I was unconscious for a while.
“How did you guys find me so fast?”
“It wasn’t fast at all. Normally, Cara and I can track someone in minutes but the areas Finn was driving in didn’t have many cameras. Plus, his car didn’t have any plates on it. I was almost afraid we wouldn’t find you.”
Sara looks down and fidgets with her fingers and she has a faraway look in her eyes. Cara looks equally upset but I’m stuck on the fact that Sara said they were tracking us. I know from what I saw in the basement that there is more to Cara and Sara than I thought, but now I’m wondering just how much I don’t know about them.
“How exactly did you track us?”
Cara and Sara exchange looks like they’re having a conversation without the words. After a few seconds, Cara sighs and rolls her eyes. “I guess I’ll be answering that question.”
