I haven’t done any night shifts since the girls came into my life. Torch and Rambo agreed that I should be home with my family. I was so glad I didn’t have to fight with them about it, but that’s what makes us great partners. We all think alike, and it makes running the club smoother. Torch’s phone rings and when he answers his face falls. “Blade, why haven’t you been answering your phone?” he asks me.

I frown and pull out my phone and see it’s on silent. Bianca and I had a wild night last night, and I turned off my ringer, not wanting any interruptions. When I look at my screen, I see I have fifteen missed calls from Sara. My hackles go up and I look at my brother to see he’s hung up his phone. He looks panicked.

“What the fuck is going on?” I ask him.

“Bianca is missing.”

Those three words makes my entire world crumble. My palms begin to sweat and shake, and I can’t breathe. I stare at my brother with a blank expression, not being able to process what he’s saying. My chest heaves as the thoughts begin to run through my mind. My woman. The mother of my children. In the short amount of time since she’s been back in my life, she has become my everything. I can’t live my life without her.

Torch snaps his fingers in my face. “Blade, come on, man, we have to get to the clubhouse.” I get up and run to the door and head for my bike. On the way out, I hear Rambo tell Sasha, our bartender, that she’s in charge. It isn’t the first time she’s had to run the club because of an emergency. We have security guards, so if anything happens, she still has protection.

Getting on my bike, I take off, not waiting for my brother and Rambo. When we get to the clubhouse, I walk past everyone, completely ignoring them and make my way to the cave. I know my sisters will be in there, trying to track down Bianca.

“Have you found her?!” I shout frantically once I’m inside the room.

Cara shakes her head. “I’m moving as fast as I can go, Cam. I knew I should have given her a charm with a tracker in it.”

Sara, Cara, and Tech are typing fast. I have no idea what they’re doing. “What happened?!” I growl out. Sara points to the monitor and a video starts.

Bianca is walking to the to the dumpster, taking out the trash, alone. Why the fuck would she go out there by herself? I told her to stay inside the restaurant and not to leave under any circumstance. It’s too late to go back now. I just need to find my woman. While she’s throwing the bags away, a man approaches her from behind and hits her in the back of the head with a gun.

We can’t see his face because he has a hoodie on, and his back is facing the camera. I swear I’m going to rip these Knights to fuckin’ pieces. How the hell do they even know about her? Bianca wasn’t around when everything hit the fan. To my shock, when the man turns around and throws Bianca over his shoulder, I see it’s that motherfucker, Finn. I’m going to kill his ass!

He must be completely off his rocker.

He has to know we’re going to come for his ass and that only makes time that much more precious. “Don’t you have his address from your employee files?” I ask them.

Tech shakes his head and looks up from his screen. “He didn’t take her there. We had already sent some brothers there, and it was empty. Now we’re tracking him through local cameras, trying to see where he went.”

“How long has she been missing?”

“About an hour. Mark went to check on her when one of the prep cooks said she didn’t return after fifteen minutes. That’s when he called me. Hold on. I think I got something,” Cara says. She starts typing more furiously and shouts, “I got him. His parents left him a house thirty minutes from here. Let’s go!”

We run out of the cave and Viper starts barking orders about who will stay and protect the kids and who will go get Bianca. We’re violating every speed law known to man on the way to this house. We pull up to a secluded home. There isn’t another home for miles.

The house isn’t a mansion but definitely a decent size. I can tell he comes from money. Hoping off our bikes, I’m leading the pack and I kick the door open.

It’s eerily quiet in here. We all spread out. Viper, Bear, and my siblings follow behind me. I wasn’t shocked my sisters convinced him to let them come. They’re not the kind of women to sit back and do nothing. They’re too headstrong for that. It’s one of the reasons they used to work for the government. They like making a difference and being right in the middle of the action. It’s just who they are.

I hear Bianca scream and I take off running. Her first is followed by another and I hear that fucker Finn laughing. Snatching open the door, I run down the steps. Finn jumps behind Bianca and holds a knife to her throat.

“Ah, ah, ah. Stay right there or I’ll slit her fuckin’ throat.”

“Cameron,” Bianca sobs, looking at me.

“It’s okay, baby. I’m going to get you out of here.” She nods and Finn throws his head back, laughing. He isn’t the least bit concerned that he has six guns aimed at him. My woman only has on her bra and panties and has three cuts on her precious fuckin’ body—two on her right arm and another on the left. If we manage to get him out of here alive, his death will be slow.

“How do you figure you’re going to do a damn thing? You make one wrong move, and her ass is dead. Now, lower your guns. My hand feels a little twitchy,” he says with a grin plastered on his face.

Before I can say anything, I hear a gun click beside me and a dart is sticking out of his neck. His eyes roll to the back of his head, and he falls to the ground.

Turning around, I see Sara standing there with a beaming smile on her face. She lowers her gun and she and Cara fist bump each other. “You like my new baby. It looks like a regular gun but it’s really a tranquilizer. I figured you rather get him out of here alive.” Bear chuckles and kisses her forehead while I make my way to my woman. As soon as I cut the ropes off her, she throws herself at me and continues to sob. I rip off my shirt and quickly put it on her.

Holding her to me, I stand and breathe my woman in. She’s okay and she’s in my arms. I hate seeing that he hurt her. Her face is swollen, and her lip is busted. I’ll issue all that pain back and then some. He thinks he was doing something with his knife, but I’ll show him how to use a knife. It’s a reason my road name is Blade.

“Hey, you hear that? Shh,” Cara says, focusing off into the distance. She starts making her way across the basement and finds a latch in the floor. There’s a lock on it and it looks like some hidey-hole or something. Cara pulls her gun out and shoots off the lock. Bianca jumps in my arms, and I glare at my sister.

“Sorry, B,” she says with remorseful eyes.
