ChapterTwelve
BIANCA
Tonight, is River’s patch-in party. When Cameron first told me about it, I had him explain just what the hell that meant. Cam also told me how wild biker parties get and it isn’t anything I haven’t seen before. I went to a few college parties, and they got wild as well. Cam told me college parties looked like a toddler’s celebration compared to bikers. So now, I’m a little nervous.
Mom’s surgery is scheduled for next week. Cara and Sara hired a replacement for Finn so I could take off for a few weeks. She’ll be in the hospital for a week and then she’ll come home. Cam’s club bother, Doc, assured me he would take care of her at the hospital and once she comes home. Crystal and Paul hired a nurse to help take care of her when Doc is unavailable. She’ll stay in the room across from my mom upstairs.
Right now, we’re all sitting around the common room while the kids are at the pool with Crystal, Paul, and the nannies. At first, I felt like we were taking advantage of Cam parents, but she shooed me away, saying they loved taking off with the kids. Cara told me to get ready to have my girls kidnapped all the time by Crystal. She really does love taking the kids, and I’m grateful for the little bit of freedom she gives us.
I’m snuggled in Cameron’s lap, and we’ve been goofing off with his siblings for the past hour. Suddenly, a group of women dressed in tiny scrapes of clothing approach the couch. I’m going to assume these are the bunnies. They’re all pretty, but they’re pretty much naked wearing tiny skirts and cut-up shirts.
The common room has gone quiet, and everyone is looking at them with stoic faces. I don’t have a clue as to what’s going on.
“Viper, we need to speak with you,” one of the women finally says.
Viper scoffs and shakes his head. “Diamond, anything you need to say to me, you can say it right here.”
Diamond rolls her eyes in annoyance but proceeds with the conversation.
“We don’t feel safe here anymore.”
All the guys scrunch their faces up in confusion. “And why exactly don’t you all feel safe anymore?” Viper asks her.
Diamond looks over at one of the bunnies and she nods, but then turns to me with a heated glare. That must be Ivy. I snuggle deeper into Cam with a smirk. This bitch took three years away from my daughters with her lies. I’ll rub our relationship in her face every chance I get.
Petty, I know.
“We feel unsafe because of your Ol’ Lady. She beat the crap out of Ivy while all of you stood around and watched.” I suck in a breath and Cam’s arms tighten around me. Is that what happened to her hands? She told me she was hitting the heavy bag, but I didn’t buy it then.
“Okay. What exactly do you want me to do about that?” Viper asked.
“We want her to leave. We don’t feel comfortable with her being here.”
Viper looks at her like she’s lost her mind, but before he can say anything, Cara, Sara, and Sofia start laughing like banshees. Cara is holding her stomach while wiping tears from her eyes. All the guys look at them and smirk. Viper shakes his head with a chuckle before standing.
“And why exactly did Ivy get her ass whooped by Cara?” he asks, standing over her. Diamond shirks back a little and looks at the other bunnies who look equally scared.
Cara sits up on the couch with a raised hand, waving it frantically. “Oh, I know, I know. Pick me, Pick me.” Some of the guys snicker. Viper smiles at his wife and waves his hand, telling her to go on.
“Ivy got her ass whooped because she played around with somebody’s personal life. She cost three innocent little girls to live without their father when they shouldn’t have. You all have one purpose here and that’s to be fucked. No one is making you stay here. You all choose to. Now, I don’t want to assume, but fellas, do any of you have any plans to take things to the next level with theseladies?”
Cara snickers after calling them ladies and a chorus of noes goes around the room from the guys.
One of the other bunnies steps around the girls and looks at Viper with apologetic eyes. “I just want to say Mouse and I had no idea this is what they were coming to say. We like it here and we know our place. We don’t want any problems.” She and who I assume is Mouse go over and take a seat at the bar while the other bunnies glare at them.
Big Red steps forward and stands next to Viper and Cara. “I think I speak for all the guys here when I say if you want to leave, you know where the door is. Cara, Sara, Sofia, and now Bianca, are our family and they’re not going anywhere. If you leave right now, we’ll have your replacements by the time the sun goes down. You think you’re the only ones wanting to fuck us?”
Big Red laughs and walks back to his seat. All the guys nod and agree with him, and Cara sticks her thumbs beside her head, waving her hands back and forth with her tongue sticking out. “Ha, ha, ha,” she taunts Diamond. The entire common room roars with laughter at seeing her childish antics. Cara takes her seat with a smug smile.
“There you have it, ladies. So, are you leaving or staying? Choice is yours.” Viper takes his seat and most of the bunnies mutter they’re staying, but Ivy is left standing fuming with anger.
“Guess that master plan didn’t work.” Cara snickers while smiling wide at Ivy.
Ivy looks like she’s ready to kill Cara. Nobody seems worried but me. “Come on, make your move. Don’t be a pussy and hide behind your minions,” she further goads her. Ivy looks like she’s contemplating it, but eventually she storms back up the hallway.
“Hmm, guess there are some smarts in that tiny brain of hers.” Everyone howls in laughter and the rest of the day goes by smoothly. When the other chapter makes it, I meet so many people. If their name wasn’t on their cut, I would be asking them to repeat the name.
When it’s time to get ready for the party, I go with Cam’s sisters. We all get ready at Cara’s house. Looking at my plan blue mini dress, I feel so underdressed. Cam’s sisters come from money so I know they’ll be smokin’ hot tonight. I know they would never make fun of me, but I don’t even want to show up in this sad excuse of a dress.
