We take a vote. Everyone decides to let Ivy stay, but she can’t speak to me, look at me, or touch me. This plan for her to do something stupid could bite me in the ass but letting her free could endanger Bianca and I’m not taking that risk. Viper tells River to collect Ivy and bring her in. When she walks in, I don’t even bother looking at her.
“Blade, I’m sor—” she cries, but Viper cuts her off.
“You don’t speak, Ivy. Understand?” Ivy nods and Viper continues. “We’re letting you stay but you’re on your last strike. As far as Blade goes, he’s made it very clear that you are not to speak to him, his daughters, or Bianca. They don’t exist to you. Got it?”
When I look up, I can see she’s angry at hearing Bianca’s name. Yeah. She’s going to be a problem and I’ll be keeping my eyes on her. When Viper stands over her, she nods and mumbles a yes. River escorts her out and Viper ends church. When I enter the common room, my parents are still waiting. Cara sits and tells us everything she knows.
She didn’t get to spend too much time with them so she couldn’t tell me much about them. I want to hop on my bike and knock on Bianca’s door, but I know she probably needs a little time to process this. Fate was on our side. What are the chances she gets a job working for my sisters after thinking I wanted nothing to do with my daughters?
I could kill Ivy for making Bianca believe that. I regret ever fucking that crazy bitch. She had me and everyone around here fooled. “Cam, did you hear me?” I look at Cara and shake my head. I’m a fuckin’ mess right now.
“I said Bianca and the girls will be here Saturday for dinner at Mom and Dad’s. I don’t think she can handle dinner with the entire club just yet.”
“That’s two days away, Cara!” I growl in frustration.
“I know, but that’s her next off day. Plus, she needed time to process this, Cam.”
I nod but I still don’t like it. I’ve already lost so much time. Two days will feel like forever. “We need to get your house together in those two days, Cam. You need to baby proof, buy clothes, shoes, pick out a room for them, and so much other shit.”
“How the hell are we going to do that in two days?” I ask.
“That’s what we’re here for, brother,” Big Red says. I turn around and see all my brothers standing there nodding. I know they’re going to do anything I need to make sure I’m set for when my girls get here. Fuck. My girls. It feels so weird saying that. Two hours ago, I was a single man and now I’m a father of three.
When I think about Bianca, a smirk crosses my lips. I never did get to take her on that date like I wanted. I know I have to go slow, but eventually I will make my move on her. I’m going to make her mine again.
ChapterSeven
BLADE
The past two days have been mayhem around here. Cara and Sara kicked all the guys into gear, splitting us up into teams to get everything I would need. Bianca will be here in an hour, and I just put the finishing touches on the girls’ room. I just want to hold them and see them for myself. That picture only made me more impatient.
My girls are absolutely beautiful. I think about the bond I have with my triplets and wonder if it's the same for them. Do they have the same personalities or are they completely different? I just want to get to know them. Hold them. See them in person. I never thought I would miss three years of my kid's life. This is a hard pill to swallow. My mama always told Torch and I to be mindful of the women we keep. I should have listened.
My sisters out did themselves with this princess room. They have a huge dollhouse and play kitchen set with a bunch of princess dress-up costumes. The closet in their room is fully stocked with clothes and shoes. Cara had to ask Bianca for their sizes, and she was almost reluctant to tell Cara.
I understand she’s been doing it on her own, but that’s not happening anymore. Hell, if it were up to me, she wouldn’t work at all, but Cara told me that might not be something you tell a woman who worked her ass off in college. Closing the door to the girl’s room, I go to mine and take a shower.
Once I’m dressed, I lock up and go to my parents’ house. Normally I wouldn’t lock my house, but I don’t trust Ivy. My whole family is waiting inside the living room when I get there, even my baby sister Sofia.
She normally visits once a month, but that’s mainly to see River. I’m glad I don’t have to hear those two having sex like I did Cara and Sara. River’s room is on the other side of the clubhouse, so I don’t have to suffer. Believe me, no man should hear his sister scream through an orgasm.
Sofia runs over and wraps her arms around me. “You’re a dad, Cam,” she gushes.
I smile and kiss her forehead with a nod.
“You ready, bro?” Torch asks.
“More than ready. I’ve been bouncing off the walls waiting to meet them.” Torch nods and slaps me on the shoulder. Mom and my sisters start tell us to set the table when the food is finished. Mom and Dad’s house is huge. They moved here for one purpose—to be closer to their grandchildren. Every room except theirs has bunk beds and cribs. They have a huge playroom and the dining room table seats twenty. With Bianca and the girls coming tonight, the table will pretty much be full.
Torch, Viper, Bear, River, and I head to the table to set up and ten minutes later, the food is spread down the table. Viper attempts to steal a green bean and Mom smacks his hand away. “No food until Bianca and the girls get here.”
Viper’s phone rings and he answers it, having a three-second conversation before hanging up. “They’re here. She should be pulling up any second.”
I tell everyone to wait inside, except Cara and Sara. I don’t want to spook her with my whole family at once. When her car pulls up, I cringe at the sounds coming from it.
“That car is not safe,” Cara says.
I nod my head in agreement. “That’s another thing I’ll be changing.” When Bianca finally gets out, she gives a timid wave and lets the girls out of the backseat.
