“That’s not all. With your budget, we were able to build you a security booth for the gate with bulletproof glass. There will be a few monitors in there so they can watch the grounds as well.”
“How will they be able to get the names of potential visitors from inside a security booth?” a guy asks. His vest, which I learned is called a “cut” says his name isSnake. I really don’t like the way he asked that. He has a smirk on his face, as if he’s shown me up in some way. This asshole just doesn’t know I’m the best at what I do.
“There will be an intercom, with a camera for the prospects to communicate through from the booth,” I answer with a mirrored smirk. Take that!
He quickly loses that smirk when all his club brothers nod their heads in approval. “You sure all that fits within our budget?” Viper asks.
“Yes. Seeing as my brothers look at you all like family, I gave you the family discount.”
“Well, shit, looks like the clubhouse is going to be locked up tighter than Fort Knox,” Axel says. He’s an attractive man. He’s about six feet tall with brown skin, chocolate eyes, light scruff on his face, and his black hair is cut short and faded on the sides.
“Cara, Sara, I hope you don’t mind, but your brothers told us about your tech skills. We were wondering if you could teach our brother Tech a thing or two?” Viper asks.
I scan the table and find the man whose cut readsTech. He’s definitely a tech nerd. We have a way about us, and we can always spot a fellow nerd.
“Stick with me and I’ll teach you the way, grasshopper,” I say with a wink. That earns a few laughs, and Tech blushes. Who would have thought he’s shy? Which he shouldn’t be, because even with the glasses, he’s still hot—piercing blue eyes, platinum blond hair, cut short on the sides, and long on the top. Yum.
My brother clearing his throat next to me breaks me out of my thoughts, and I quickly realize I was caught ogling Tech. All the club brothers are smirking at me, except Viper. He looks like he’s ready to kill someone, Tech in particular.
“Don’t worry, sweetheart, you’re not the only one to get caught up in Tech’s good looks,” a guy name Capone says. If I had Sara’s skin complexion, I’m pretty sure I would be beet red right now.
“Thanks for teaching me a few things. I know some basic hacking skills but that’s about it,” Tech says, while still blushing. He’s too cute.
“Well, by the time I’m done with you, you will be one dangerous fucker on the web.”
“That’s a little cocky, don’t you think?” Snake sneers.
“Maybe so, but I have every reason to be,” I say with a shrug.
Honestly, this guy is rubbing me the wrong way. Being an interrogator for almost two years has taught me a lot about body language and feeding off someone’s emotions. Right now, Snake looks nervous and pissed. I make a mental note, as soon as I get my equipment set up, to look into him. Something isn’t right. He’s the only one who is upset about the new security features.
“All right, does anyone else have anything to add?” Viper asks the room. Everyone shakes their head. Viper grabs his gavel and brings it to the table with a bang. “Meeting adjourned.” Everyone starts to exit the room, going off to do whatever it is bikers do.
Walking back into my room, I grab a pair of yoga pants and a tank top. I head into the bathroom that’s in my room. I need this shower so badly. After driving for five hours then the meeting, I want to wash this day away. Once I’m done, I dry off and get dressed. Going through my luggage, I find the special package I brought with me for Chris and Cam.
Walking into Sara’s room, I hear her in the bathroom. I’m pretty sure she’s doing the same thing I did. Once she’s out, she quickly spots me and grins when she sees the package in my hand.
“Do you have yours?” I ask.
She gives me a “duh” look and goes to her luggage. Once she has it, we leave the room in search of our brothers. We find them in the common room. There are a few couches, a bar, three pool tables, and a huge television mounted on the wall.
I see the prospect, Bobby, making his way up the hallway, and I quickly stop him. I tell him what I need and ask him if he can get it for me. He tells me yes and leaves. Sara and I head toward the couches where we see Chris and Cam. My heart skips a beat as I see Viper sitting on the couch, but he’s not alone. A redhead who’s practically naked, wearing only a white crop top and G-string, is sitting so close to him, she’s almost straddling his lap.
“Sis, don’t jump to conclu—” Sara starts to say, but I cut her off.
“It’s fine,” I mutter. She knows me. She saw the way I had looked at Viper, so she knows I had my eyes on him. But, he’s a single man, and I have no claim on him. It still hurts though. I take my mind to another place because tonight is about me and my brothers. We haven’t seen each other in six months, and we never go that long without linking up. Tonight will be a night to remember.

VIPER
Seeing Cara make her way across the common room toward me has my dick jumping in my jeans. Those yoga pants and tank top show off her curvy figure, and all I can think about is seeing that body without clothes covering up that masterpiece. Her hair is pulled up into a messy bun, showing off that neck I want to sink my teeth into.
“Cam, Chris, we have a package for you.” Sara has a mischievous smirk on her face and Cara’s expression matches hers.
I look at Blade and Torch. They both have the biggest smiles on their faces. “Hell yeah!” Torch shouts, throwing his fist in the air. Just when I’m about to ask what the package is, each of the girls pulls a Ziplock bag full of weed out from behind their backs. All the guys’ mouths drop open, because I’m betting, like me, we would have never pegged the girls to smoke.
“You two smoke?” Thor asks bewildered.
