“Babe, we’ll get your food, don’t worry.” I chuckle, shaking my head. My woman has always been serious about her food, but now that she’s pregnant, she can become violent.

“No, that’s not it.” I give her a confused look and dial Bobby.

“Viper, did you find them?”

Cara grabs my phone with a smile. “Aww, I’m touched that you were worried about us, Bobby, but I need you to do me a favor.”

“What’s up?”

“I need you to grab Candy and hang that bitch in the basement.” Cara’s face is full of anger.

“Did she?” I ask.

Cara nods. “Yup. Its why I couldn’t find them. The bitch told them about how I was using the city’s cameras, and she told them where I would be today. That bitch is dying tonight. After I eat my tacos and pizza, of course.”

Some of the guys shake their heads because that bitch just doesn’t learn. Did she actually think she would get away with this shit? She put the girls and my unborn children in danger. I don’t hurt women, but if Cara doesn’t kill her, I will.

After we set the cabin on fire, the girls get into the van with Dice. Being covered in blood isn’t the best look for being on the back of a bike, plus Cara is pregnant. We take off with the cabin high in flames. I sigh in relief, knowing this chapter is over. Nobody will take her from me.

She. Is. Mine.

ChapterTwenty-Seven

CARA

“What the hell are they doing here?” I shout as Dice pulls up to the clubhouse. My parents are standing outside, and I’m covered in blood. How the hell am I going to explain this?

“They were here when we left. Blade and Torch called before we left the cabin and told them to send Sofia and Marco to the back. They didn’t want your siblings seeing you two like this,” Dice informs us.

“Let’s get this over with.” Sara opens the door and I follow behind her. As soon as our parents lay their eyes on us, their eyes go wide in shock. My mom is running to us. “My babies! We need to get them to a hospital!” Mom shouts as she frantically searches us from head to toe.

“Mom. The blood isn’t ours.” After my revelation, she gasps and turns to my father. He looks equally shocked. “Dad, you put us in all those self-defense classes. Did you really think we would go down without a fight?” Sara looks a little nervous. We never wanted them to see this side of us.

“Well, I suppose not. Are you two okay? Did they hurt you two? What about my grandbabies?” he asks, placing his hand on my stomach.

“Dad, we’re fine. I just want to shower and eat my tacos and pizza.”

He nods and reluctantly lets us go. I hear my mom going crazy as I walk into the clubhouse. Sara and I rush into our rooms to shower. We don’t want to take any chance of Marco and Sofia seeing us like this. While I’m in the shower, I hear the shower door open. Jace wraps his arms around me and holds me for a while before he speaks.

“I could have lost you. Again.”

“But you didn’t. I’m fine. The babies are fine. It’s going to be alright.”

“I can’t lose you. I can’t lose our babies. I can’t handle that.”

“We’re right here, baby.” I turn around and cup his face. Jace kisses me like he’ll never see me again. After the water starts to get cold, we hurry, shower, dry off, and get dressed. When we make it to the dining hall, I see the food has arrived. Yay. I see my mom and she look like she’s been crying. I walk over to her and hug her.

“Mom, I’m going to tell you something I never wanted to. When Sara and I worked for the government, we weren’t just helping them with hacking. We did all kinds of things that I will not go into detail about. I just need you to understand that I’m fine. Sara and I know how to protect ourselves. You’re not going to lose us.”

My mom hugs me and nods. We all go sit and everybody eats. After dinner is over, Jace calls Axel over and whispers in his ear. Axel takes off and comes back a few minutes later with a huge gift. Jace stands and grabs my hand, taking me to the front of the room. What is going on?

“As you all know, tonight, we were supposed to make a special announcement. Most of you know what that announcement was supposed to be, but for those of you who don’t, Cara is pregnant.”

The clubhouse breaks out into cheers and whistles.

“Now, I had a few surprises up my sleeve for Cara as well. So, let’s start with the first one, shall we?” Axel hands me a gift bag. I look at Jace and he nods his head, telling me to open it. I hurriedly rip the paper and open the bag. Inside is my property cut, officially making me Vipers Ol’ Lady. On the front, on the right side,Sinful Warriors MCis stitched and on the back, it reads,Property of Viper. I squeal in excitement and put the cut on over my shirt. Throwing my arms around Jace, I kiss him passionately.

Jace breaks the kiss and shakes his head. “That’s not all, baby.”
