Once I’m in the common room, my heart skips a beat. He doesn’t see me because his back is turned. He’s talking to his dad and Axel. The man looks good. I can see he has jeans, his biker boots, a black button-down shirt and his cut on. Pops says something and turns around.

ChapterEight

VIPER

Fuck. Me. My woman is smoking hot. That black dress has me harder than nails. I didn’t even know it was possible to get an erection in five seconds.

“Son, are you going to keep staring or are you going to go greet your woman?” my dad asks, snapping me back to reality.

I hurry and make my way to her and pull her flush against my body. “Damn, baby, I’m speechless. You look so beautiful.” I lean down and give her a quick kiss.

“Thanks honey, you look handsome as ever,” she breathes out. Her pupils are dilated already. I know if I reached under her dress, she would be soaking wet for me. No! I can’t think like this.

“Behave, woman. You said you wanted a date and you’re going to get it.”

The minx just giggles and nods.

“Ms. Cara, you look so pretty,” Cindy says, smiling up at Cara. Cindy craves female attention. Losing her mother has been tough on her. Cara turns around and bends over so she’s eye level with Cindy.

I can’t help it; my eyes go straight to her ass. I have to suppress the growl threatening to break free. I want to shove my face in between those thick fuckin’ thighs and devour her right here and now.

“Thank you so much, sweetheart. You look very pretty today in your white sundress.”

Cindy looks like she has something else to say and Cara picks up on it as well. “You know you can ask or tell me anything, right?”

“I was wondering if it would be ok if I call you Aunt Cara?” she finally asks.

I see tears brimming in Cara’s eyes. “Of course, sweetheart. I would be honored.”

“Me too?” Colton asks.

“You bet, handsome,” she says, kissing his cheek.

The little guy blushes.Hard. He better not get any ideas. That’s my woman. Look at me. I’m jealous of a four-year-old.

Cara stands and walks over to the kitchen entrance. I can see her and Sara having a conversation. Once they’re finished, she walks over to me. “I’m ready.”

Walking out of the clubhouse, holding her hand, she pulls me to a stop. I turn around confused. She’s holding the key to her truck, grinning. A smile spreads across my face before I can stop it. I’ve been wanting to drive this truck but seeing how Thor got chewed out I decided against asking. “You’re letting me drive your truck?”

“I figure if I’m already considering letting you take my virginity, you should be able to drive my truck.” She winks and walks away, heading for the passenger door. I take a few breaths before falling behind her. This woman gets me going at all hours of the day. I open her door for her and help her inside. When I walk around the truck, I remove my cut. Once I’m seated in the driver’s seat, I turn to lay my cut on the back seat. Cara looks at the cut and then at me in confusion.

“We never wear our colors in a cage, babe.”

“Cage?”

“Vehicles. Anything that has us caged and not free like our bikes.”

Cara nods in understanding and I grab her hand, bringing it to my lap. We make it to the steakhouse in no time. Once we’re seated, I order a beer. Cara orders Crown and Coke. I’m not surprised. Cara doesn’t seem like a big wine drinker.

“So, I know a little bit about your childhood because of Torch and Blade, but I want to hear it from your perspective.”

“Let’s see. I was raised in California. My parents met their freshman year in high school. My dad’s parents were struggling immigrants, while my mom’s parents were alcoholics. They grew up in a rough neighborhood. They kept their heads in the books all while falling in love with each other. They both had scholarships to college before they graduated from high school. A month before graduation, my mom found out she was pregnant with us.”

“Wait, your parents had you and your brothers when they were eighteen?” I ask shocked.

“Yup. Mom knew she couldn’t go to college with three babies on the way. She tried to make my dad go, but he refused to leave us. Since my dad’s people were struggling and my mom parents were alcoholics, they moved in with my nana. She’s my mom’s grandmother. My dad got two jobs. He would help my nana with her bills while taking care of us.”

“Your parents are rich now, right? I only ask because your brothers opened the strip club with a little bit of their trust fund.”
