Page 7 of Cash

“Would you like to tell my friend, Cash, some of the names you called me? I think you should. He’d love to hear how nasty your language gets when you think you’re intimidating a young woman,” Tessie asks in a sweet voice while crossing her arms on the window frame and resting her chin on them.

I again fight back a smile at Tessie. She’s a character, and I’ve often thought how much I would’ve loved having a sister just like her. Luckily for me, I have her now instead.

“Yes, please do. I want the full picture before I decide your fate,” I say while watching him pale.

“Look, Bruh. It’s over with, and I’m not even going to ask for repair money now. Shit happens and we’ll just let it go. Call us even,” the guy sputters nervously.

“Bitch. Tramp. Whore. The big “C” word. Should I go on? Maybe tell Cash how you threatened to, and I quote, ‘fuck some sense into you,’” Tessie interjects.

I feel my temperature rising while my patience is waning.

“Oh! I almost forgot! Remember when you said, ‘Suck my cock, and I’ll forgive the cost of the damage?’ Yeah, good times we were having, huh, Bruh?” Tessie adds sarcastically.

I’ve heard enough. I grab the guy by the front of his throat and slam his back into the side of Tessie’s Jeep. I’ve just added another dent. but Trigger’s a rock star at fixing Tessie’s Jeep. God knows, she keeps him busy doing it. The preppy pissant I just grabbed ahold of doesn’t even try to squirm loose. He just freezes with his hands at his sides. Eyes wide open, mouth the same way. I lean my face down to his and tell him how this is going to go down.

“You’re going to hand me your driver’s license. Tessie will write down your info. There will be no paying for damage to your vehicle because you caused some to hers too. If I ever see or hear of you harassing young women again, I’ll end you. That simple. The Devil’s Angels will be keeping an eye on you. Don’t fuck up and end up dead. And never, ever get within sight of Tessie again. Got it?”

As I’m explaining his new life to him, I hear a motorcycle coming. I don’t have to look to know it’s Vex’s. When the engine shuts off, I hear Tessie greeting her brother-in-law.

“Yes. That’s cool. No problem,” the guy hurriedly responds while pulling his wallet out of his pocket.

I take his wallet with my free hand and hand it to Tessie, so she can do her part.

“Tessie? You hurt? What’s going on?” Vex asks as he steps next to me.

“I’m fine, Vex. No injuries to me. I may need therapy from all the horrid things he said to me, though,” Tessie responds while arranging her face into a pathetically sad expression.

“Like what?” Vex barks while the guy cringes in my hold.

“Oh, you know. All the things people say when there’s been a minor fender bender. Like, you stupid whore, bitch, you need a beating, suck my cock. I clearly remember being told that I might be getting ass raped. That kind of stuff,” Tessie answers nonchalantly.

I tense as Vex goes from zero to nuclear in 1.2 seconds.

“You used those words over a fender bender? To my little sister? You threatened a young woman with that shit? You have a fucking death wish, cocksucker?” Vex asks in a low and deadly voice.

“No! No! I just lost my head! I’m sorry! Really, I am!” the guy shouts as loud as he can with my hand still on his throat.

“I’ve already explained to this half-wit how things are going to be from now on. He’ll keep his distance from Tessie or we’ll bury him,” I inform Vex while finally releasing my hold on the guy. The dick splat isn’t going anywhere with Vex and me boxing him in.

“If I even see your face again, you’re dead. And when I say dead, I mean the variety of dead that four cadaver dogs working 24/7 will still never find all your body parts. Got it?” Vex growls while grabbing the guy’s shirt and slamming his back into the Jeep. After a few more hard slams, Vex releases him. Trigger’s going to be a busy man it appears.

The guy’s head jerks hard in agreement as I step back. He wastes no time in bolting through the opening and rushing to his car. He jumps in, the car roars to life, and he hauls ass away from the small parking lot we’re standing in.

“Guess he didn’t want his wallet back,” Tessie says while waving it in the air.

Tessie climbs out of her vehicle, hands me the wallet before wrapping her arms around my torso and squeezing hard. I return the hug and drop a kiss on the top of her golden head. When she steps back from me, she turns and does the same to Vex. He holds on a little longer, and I know he’s still worked up over how things could have ended for Tessie. But they didn’t, and that’s what we need to concentrate on.

“Thank you, Cash. Brother, I really—” Vex starts to say before I cut him off.

“No worries, Vex. Always here for you guys. Tessie, honey, glad you’re unhurt. Glad you called when you did because things could’ve gotten a lot worse. Don’t ever hesitate to call if you need me. And when you have your next fender bender, which we all know there will be more, don’t even get out of your Jeep until you’ve made a call to one of us,” I tell her before walking toward my bike.

“Thanks, Cash. Love you!” Tessie shouts.

“Love you too, girl,” I answer as I swing my leg over my Harley. Time for bed.
