“I’m not a girl, thank you very much. I’m a male, have a dick, and pee standing up just like Pooh and Cash. I’m just better looking. Not my fault about the eyelashes but, I’ll clue you in, the women love them,” Vex says while chuckling and sitting upright on the couch.

“The women here all go gah gah after you leave. It’s kind of weird. I hope I’m not pretty when I grow up because I don’t want women acting stupid around me,” Craig says seriously.

I laugh out loud when the women all scurry out of sight when Craig drops his little bomb of truth on Vex. I’m sure their embarrassment will keep them hiding in their rooms until Vex leaves today. Upon laughing, Vex and Craig’s eyes turn my direction. Craig’s are serious and Vex’s are smiling.

“Do you think I’m pretty, Pippa?” Vex asks while quirking an eyebrow.

“Yeah, she does. She even told Tammy that you…”

“Stop right there, Craig! Bath time for you!” I shout out in a desperate attempt to keep his knowledge to himself. It works perfectly. He hears the word bath and he’s off and running. After he leaves the room, I turn my flaming red face toward a laughing Vex, while keeping my eyes aimed at the wall above his head, and inform him that there is food and drinks in the kitchen if he wants anything. I hurriedly turn and rush back to my office. I do this listening to his laughter. Damn kid!

Pooh: Vex is pretty? I’ll be finding out the rest of what Craig knows when I get there.

Me: You’re hot beyond belief and I’m so happy you are in my life!

Pooh: Thx. Still talking with Craig later.

Me: Blowjob of all blowjobs if you don’t!

Pooh: That’s not fighting fair. I may need more than that promised to me though.

Me: What do you want in return for Craig’s silence?

Pooh: Now we’re talking. Let me get back to you on that.

Me: Anything, baby.

Pooh: You must have said something that will really piss me off if you’re offering anything, doll. We’ll chat later.

I have my head in my hands groaning when I hear someone enter my office. I cringe, thinking it might be Vex, so I peek through my fingers to see Lucy, Ava, Trudy and Bailey standing there. All are grinning at me.

“What did you do, girl?” asks Trudy knowingly.

“I thought you all were Vex and I can’t face him yet.”

Their smiles grow as they walk into my office and grab seats.

“Spill,” demands Ava.

“It’s nothing really,” I tell them before explaining what happened and my text messages from Pooh.

“Don’t worry about it, Pippa. We’ve all stuck our foot in our mouth when it comes to Vex,” Bailey assures me. Everyone nods except for Lucy. I aim a pointed look at her and she shrugs her shoulders.

“What? I haven’t. I saw Chubs, talked with him, and that was that. I honestly don’t really look too closely at anyone else because I already have the best that there is.”

Wow! My heart goes soft at the love in her eyes. I’m so happy that she and Chubs met because they are absolutely perfect for each other. I can tell by the other women’s faces that they are thinking along the same lines as I am.

“We’re going gown shopping and thought you might like to come with,” Trudy announces. “After the morning you’ve had, we thought it would come as a great distraction. Is Tammy available to come too?”

“She should be back in a few minutes and yes, I’d love to come. Let me pop out and see if one of the women will be around to watch Craig,” I say while getting to my feet.

“I’ve got him. Go do your woman stuff. I’ll take him to the gym to meet up with Pooh if you give me your car keys,” Vex says from the doorway.

My eyes hit his for just a quick moment before I avert them to the ceiling and I hear his laughter. Gah! I toss my car keys to Vex, without looking, and sigh in relief at his retreating footsteps.

The women all laugh and we chat until Tammy returns and we head out to shop for dresses.
