“Sounds like Pippa was the nicest one. She didn’t call me names or threaten my body parts, she just called it off. Wished me well and ended things,” I tell the guys.
“Sorry. Mac likes Pippa,” Mac says, surprisingly being nice and not trying to stir the pot.
“Thanks, Mac.”
“Listen up, everyone!” shouts Gunner. The men quiet down and turn their attention to Gunner. He’s the president and has earned that respect. A few of the women do the same, but several continue chatting and the two on the table continue making out.
“Cash!” Gunner shouts, tipping his chin toward the two on the pool table.
Cash strolls to the pool table, grips each female by an arm, pulls them apart and helps them to the floor.
“Neither of you are welcome back here. You will not be allowed entrance so don’t bother. Your jobs at the strip club are over. Get out,” he tells them as he walks them to the door.
That shuts up the rest of the women. Suddenly, Gunner has their full attention.
“There was an incident last night that has brought to my attention that this club has allowed you women to become disrespectful to the members and their women. Let me make this very clear. If you can’t show the respect the club members and their women deserve, get the fuck out right now. You are guests, not members, and you would do well to remember that fact.”
Gunner pauses and looks each woman in the eye before continuing.
“Peaches, what you pulled yesterday, has ended your time here. You are no longer welcome on any club properties or in any of the club businesses. Your…”
“What the fuck, Gunner? I didn’t offer anything that Pooh…”
“GET OUT!” Gunner roars while stalking toward her. Not even Peaches is dumb enough to continue arguing with an angry biker that is well over six and a half feet tall. She gets out and does it fast.
Gunner then stalks to the table that Joanie is sitting at and leans his fists on it and sticks his face in hers. She shrinks back and into herself. She knows what is coming her way.
In a barking voice that only Gunner can achieve, he states to the room, “This one here decided it was a great idea to call our VP’s woman a cow. To her face! While I have never laid a hand on a woman in anger, my wife has no issue with doing damage. So, the next time one of you decide to be disrespectful to one of our women, I’ll hand Ava the knife she’ll need to remove your fucking tongue!”
Joanie bursts into tears. Gunner leans harder on his fists and leaves Joanie no room to move. Tears and snot are running down her face and I’m now wondering what the hell any of us ever saw in her.
“If I ever see your face on any club property, I’ll do the honors myself. Get the fuck gone, bitch!”
“Kick rocks, Ho,” shouts Mac.
Joanie scrambles out of her chair and scurries across the room and out the door. Good riddance.
Gunner then turns back to the room and continues his speech.
“Not a single one of you women have to be here. It is, and has always been, your choice to give it up to the guys however you choose. If you work for the club, it has no strings attached. Your job does not mean you have to be here fucking the men. You choose to do that. If you choose not to, you will still have your job, unless you break one of the few rules we have in place. But from this point forward, you will not come to the clubhouse unless we’re having a party that includes you or you have been specifically invited by one of the men. This stands for the weekdays. On the weekends, you are welcome, but not until 9pm on Friday and Saturday nights. Any questions?”
The room remains dead silent. There are a few shocked faces by the men and a few pissy faces by the women but nobody questions Gunner’s authority.
“Club members need to remember these rules and enforce them. I’m not having another one of these meetings. If it comes to that, no outside women will be allowed, period. Here on out, whoever is working gate duty better be careful about who is let through that fucking gate. Women, get gone. Now.”
All the women scramble to get out of the building. When they are all gone, Gunner continues.
“This is a fucking MC. It wasn’t that far into the past that this club was a pure 1% club. If your woman is claimed as a wife or Ol’ Lady, she deserves respect from club members and whores alike. Nothing less will be tolerated. If your woman is new to this lifestyle, then she needs to toughen up and learn to stand up for herself. If she can’t, then it’s your fucking job to do it. Not mine. I won’t have this type of meeting again. Biker life is tough. Sink or swim. Enforcing the rules for the sluts falls to each and every single one of you. Them thinking it’s okay to pull the shit they’ve been pulling is on you guys. Deal with this shit or I will and there will not be one piece of unclaimed ass on this property again.”
After a moment of silence, Gunner walks to our table and drops into a seat. Meeting is over. It’s time to get drunk or find a fight to lessen the angst in me.
Pippa
Tammy, Bailey and I spent the night man bashing. Not nice and not very mature, but it was therapeutic. I knew when Bailey left with us that she would go back. She and Axel have a strong foundation in their relationship and she was just hurt and striking out in anger. They’re a great couple and I hope he understands how lucky he is to have Bailey in his life.
Tammy and Trigger, Pooh and I were new. We were still feeling things out and getting to know each other so it shouldn’t be bothering me this much. But it is. I have a knot in my stomach that won’t go away and I feel a loss in my life. Ridiculous for how long I’ve even known Pooh. But nobody likes to feel cheated on and that’s how I feel.
Bailey called Gunner and took today off and is coming to New Horizons with me today to go over the books and see if she can find a way to simplify my system. While Tammy and Bailey get ready for work, I rush home to shower and change. I half expected that Pooh would be waiting for me there, but he wasn’t, and I’m not sure if I’m relieved or not. I should be, but I have to admit to being a little disappointed too.
