I tugged him toward the dining room. “We need celebratory mimosas. Your parents are going to be ecstatic.”

“You’re still coming to family dinner tonight, right? Mom is making you a German chocolate cake. I’ll tell them then.”

I’d mentioned off-hand one time that I loved German chocolate cake, and she was making it for me on a random Sunday?Seriously. How the hell did I get so lucky?

“Can’t wait. Let’s stop by the brewery to fill a growler.”

Parker kissed my cheek. “You spoil them.”

“Ty says congratulations. Oh, and he says you’re hired as the Tap That Brewery legal representative,” Seth said while reading from his phone.

“My first clients.” He grinned.

We settled at our chairs and passed the fresh fruit, vanilla bourbon French toast, and bacon around the table while chatting. Austin was on his second mimosa within minutes. Ty even FaceTimed us to join in on the celebration.

“Since Parker is moving to town, does that mean you’ll find a new place for your loud, kinky sex? Or do we need to invest in industrial earplugs while he stays at the house?” Ty asked.

“How do they know we’re having kinky sex?” Parker asked, eyes wide.

I pinched the bridge of my nose. “They do now,” I mumbled.

I loved that they assumed Parker would stay with me in my little bedroom in Dom’s place. We were a package deal, and if I loved Parker, they did too.

There was a strange snort in the background on Ty’s side of the call. We all grew silent as we stared at the phone propped against an empty champagne bottle at the far end of the table.

Ty’s mouth moved silently. He must’ve muted himself. After a few moments, he smiled. It was a smile I rarely saw on Ty’s face. There was something sweet about it. Then he winked. There he is. The flirty one.

“What?” he asked after turning his attention back to us.

“Who’s that?” Austin asked.

“Who?” Ty asked.

Austin peppered Ty with questions while Ty tried to redirect the conversation back to Parker and me.

Parker wrapped his arm around me while the others teased Ty and tried to get the mysterious snorter to appear on the screen. “On the topic of having a new place for us to have sex.” He held out his phone and showed me a photo of a lovely modern two-story house painted dark blue with white trim and a cute yard.

“What’s this?”

“I was thinking of talking to a realtor tomorrow and checking it out. Want to come with me?”

“You want tobuya house here?” Any doubts about Parker’s interest in me that lingered in the dark corners of my mind fled.

“Yes.” He leaned in and whispered in my ear, “It’s got a finished basement with a bonus room. I thought we could make it our playroom.”

Between the heat of his breath and the way his thumb traced circles on my shoulder, I shivered. “Definitely on board with that idea.”

He kissed just beneath my ear before pulling back. “I was also thinking of calling Hector and inviting him to town to check it out.”

I smiled at him. “Are you going to offer him a job?”

“I’m not sure he’d want to leave the city with its nightlife and restaurants.”

“And men.”

Parker laughed. “And men. He hinted that he wanted to follow me wherever I ended up. Jun said he’d wanted to hire a paralegal and encouraged me to consider it. I could pay for Hector to get his certification if he agreed to work for me.”

I squeezed his leg. “You’re a good man.”
