“Tex, please!”

“You ready for me, sweetheart?”

“God, yes,” she gasped.

He gripped her hip with one big hand, and she felt him nudge against her from behind before he drove into her with one long stroke, a groan wrenching out of him.

As always it took Eden a few seconds to adjust to the size of him, the stretch of her internal muscles a pleasure-pain she’d never get tired of.

Tex gently pulsed his hips while he waited for her body to ease around him, and it didn’t take long for her to crave more. When she finally relaxed and began pushing back against him, Tex began a fast, stroking rhythm that soon had pleasure coiling tightly in her core, ready to explode. With her head hanging, the tips of her blonde hair brushing over the seat of the bike as he thrust into her, Eden barreled fast toward another intense climax.

“Fuck,” Tex groaned. “Feels so good. I missed this. Missed you.” His hands tightened on her hips, and as his strokes came harder and faster, jolting her forward with each rough but exquisitely pleasurable thrust, the motorcycle started to wobble, then rock under her hands.

With a curse, Tex pulled out of her, dragging her back up against him then turning her to face him. He huffed out a laugh, although his jaw was tight with need. “Should have known I couldn’t control myself with you.”

He leaned down and grabbed his discarded T-shirt, spreading it out on the ground then lifting her off her feet and laying her down on the soft cotton. He moved over her, bracing himself with one arm and grabbing her leg with the other, wrapping it around his waist before sinking back into her in one smooth motion.

Eden gazed up at him, the sun behind his head painting his long hair tawny while casting his face in shadow, and her heart thumped almost painfully in her chest. She couldn’t believe she was there—with him. And in that moment, she couldn’t imagine being anywhere else, that she would ever want to be anywhere else than surrounded by him, filled by him.

Tex leaned down and crushed his lips to hers, his tongue surging into her mouth as he thrust deeper and harder, with long, sure strokes. Then breaking the kiss, he leaned back so he could tilt her hips further up, changing the angle of his thrusts to hit that sensitive place inside, sending electricity arcing along her nerve endings.

Tex’s hips flexed hard against her, the skin of his face taut as he chased his pleasure—and hers. It was all too much for Eden, the risk of exposure, how damn sexy he was, and just how intense her feelings for him had become. The tension built and built until she was teetering on the edge of an orgasm so strong, she didn’t know if she could take it.

One more thrust and the pressure detonated, her back bowing up and her body clenching hard around him as she came, calling out his name, not caring in that moment if anyone heard.

“That’s it, sweetheart. Fuck, you’re gonna make me come too.” His fingers pressed into her hips as he thrust one more time, then let out a long, deep groan, his features tight, eyes narrowed on hers.

Almost dizzy with the rush of blood through her veins, Eden’s breathing was fast and unsteady as she shuddered through the residual effects of her climax. Tex was looking down at her, his hips gently rocking against hers, drawing out the last of their combined pleasure. His face was still in shadow with the sun behind his head, and unable to make out his expression she felt suddenly exposed, like he might be able to see little hearts in her eyes when she looked at him. She wasn’t sure she wanted him knowing just how much he affected her, not yet anyway, when things were still so new and uncertain. But when he leaned down and braced himself on his forearms, his thumbs stroking her cheekbones as he pressed his lips to hers, she put everything she was feeling into the kiss.

Eventually Tex pulled out and rolled to the side, dragging her against him and running his hand up and down her back. After a minute of lying in contented silence while their erratic breathing calmed, he said, “We need to tell Noah.”

Eden propped herself up on one arm and looked down at him where he lay, eyes hooded and one muscular, tattooed arm behind his head. She wanted this thing between them to be out in the open, she wanted to not have to sneak around, but the thought of telling Noah made her stomach knot. How would he react? She thought about the strange tension that had filled him since his return.

“I want that too, but I think we need to give Noah more time.” She hesitated, wondering if she might be overreacting, but carried on. “I think something’s bothering him; I noticed it as soon as he got back yesterday. Did you notice anything today?”

Tex frowned. “I guess he seemed a little tense, but sometimes it can be a bit of a transition getting back off tour.”

Eden sighed. “Maybe that’s all it is then. I guess I haven’t been around him when he’s just come home before.”

He stroked her arm. “He’s your brother, Eden. If you think there’s something there then I’ll check with Zac. See if anything went down while they were away.”

She smiled at him, bending down to press a kiss to his lips. “Thank you.”

“Well, the sooner we can tell him about us, the sooner I can take you back to my house for the night.”

“I’d like that,” Eden said.

She lay her head down on his chest and closed her eyes as he wrapped his arm around her. Once their relationship was out in the open, everything would be good.

She ignored the trepidation curling in her stomach.

It was all going to be fine.

Chapter 24

It had been three weeks since Noah’s return. Three weeks of Eden feeling guilty about sneaking around behind his back. It was ridiculous, she was a grown woman, not a teenager. He was her brother, not her father. It was long past the time they should have told him what was going on. Yet Eden kept putting it off because Noah definitely wasn’t acting like himself. He hadn’t since he’d come back from the tour.

Tex had spoken to Zac, who’d said the only thing he knew was that something had happened after their concert in Chicago. Noah had disappeared straight after, not reappearing until the next morning, and had been in a foul mood for the rest of the tour.
