“Maybe you can get us a table?” I asked while he emitted a low chuckle.
“Anything for you,” he snarled, fucking me even more furiously. The ache was growing.
“Even when I want you to fill me up, Daddy?” I mused as I let my head hang low, bracing myself with a gasp on the edge of the table as he continued to impale me.
In an instant, I felt him turn me around, so I was seated facing him.
“Say it again.” His eyes were dark and hooded with a lustful desire. Our need for each other was primal, yet a slow, sensual dance that we played with each other’s senses.
“Fill,” I moaned, “me.”
Our eyes never left each other. They were fixated on a mutual yearning.
“Up,” I cried as he lifted my legs up, and instinctually, I wrapped them around his waist. “Daddy,” I wailed just as he made one more aching thrust inside me, and I felt myself immediately explode around him.
My entire body shifted underneath him, and we both erupted. My shirt fell down past my waist again. Elio took a few cautious steps backward, yet his gaze remained fixated on mine.
“I lied,” he declared, and I swiftly raised my eyes to meet his, curiosity etched across my face.
“If this is what I can expect for my birthday, then I want to celebrate with you every year,” he confessed, leaning in to capture my lips with his own.
“I’m only just getting started,” I teased, and he emitted a gratifying groan against my mouth. I giggled and hopped off the table. “Happy birthday,” I whispered, planting a tender kiss on his cheek before reaching for my phone to contact my friends and share the plans for tonight.

There were a few reasons I was hesitant about Gianna coming today, and all of them were selfish.
First, I knew that by bringing her, the entire Gambini family would see her as mine. I was aware Ricardo already knew, but by presenting her as my new wife, my enemies would suddenly become her enemies. I also wanted to talk to Ricardo today about doing less for the club. Focusing on working for my sons and less day-to-day involvement.
Second, I hated club life, and I knew she did too. The fact that she even remembered what today was, despite my best attempts to ignore my own birthday, was something I wanted to celebrate with her and her alone. But alas, we were going to the club no matter how much I griped about it.
I heard her coming down the stairs, so I looked up and saw Gianna in a vision of red. She had straightened her black hair and was wearing my favorite color.
“Rosa mia,” I exclaimed, and she walked over and lifted up on her toes for a kiss. “You look edible.” I loved the way she blushed immediately. “Can’t we stay home?” I grumbled.
“No!” she exclaimed. “I got dressed and called everyone, so we are going whether you like it or not.”
I wrapped her up into a big kiss, tasting her intoxicating scent before guiding her out to the car, where our driver was already waiting for us. We drove downtown silently before Gianna interrupted my thoughts.
“I called my mom today.”
I tried not to react because, quite frankly, it wasn’t my place to be involved. She’d spoken so little of her family since Chicago. Her dad had sold her off to the highest-paying bidder the moment that our deal was done. I knew she was hurt.
“Oh yeah?” I said carefully.
She looked down at her hands that were nervously twirling in her lap. “Yeah, it was nice,” she murmured, her voice trailing off as if lost in a distant reverie. “Perhaps one day we can bring my mom out here for a visit.”
I noticed a tinge of sadness in her gaze, and I returned it with a sympathetic look of my own. We both understood the complexities of family dynamics.
“Your papa?” I asked tentatively, sensing the weight of the unspoken emotions surrounding that subject.
“I’m not ready yet,” she confessed, her words heavy with unresolved feelings.
I nodded in understanding, for I, too, was not prepared to confront the man who had treated Gianna as nothing more than an object. No man should ever speak to her in such a degrading manner.
Suddenly, a shocked expression painted her face, and she pointed toward the door. “Wait, is this your club opening?”
