“What do you mean by almost?”

“Well, I’ve been dreaming all day about coming back to my room and soaking all my troubles away in that beautiful tub but I haven’t done it yet.”

“Because you don’t have any troubles at the moment?”

“Exactly.”

“You’re cute when you pout.”

“I’m not pouting.”

“Yes, you are.” I chuckle. “Alright. Let’s go.”

“But I’m cozy now.”

“I don’t care. You wanted to soak in the tub tonight and I’m going to make sure you do. You mentioned that in the first few moments we arrived.”

“He’s right,” Connor says. “We did promise to give you everything and anything you wanted. Besides, it’ll do us some good too. We’ll all get in. So, unless you want to make us feel incredibly awkward, angel, you’re going to have to oblige.”

“I kind of like that idea.”

Liv heads to the bathroom and the three of us follow. She dips in a toe, testing the water from when Aiden had filled the tub up earlier.

“Oh, good. It’s still pretty warm.”

“How in the hell is it still warm?” I ask.

“Because I used only hot water when I filled it. Seems most women like to bathe at a temperature equivalent to the surface of the sun,” Aiden replies as Liv submerges herself.

I follow her in only to immediately jump back out. “Hell no.”

“Oh, don’t be such a baby,” she says.

Aiden moves me to the side and gets in. “It’s really not that bad.”

“It’s tolerable,” Connor says. “You’re really making a big deal out of nothing.”

“I’m Russian. We prefer the cold.”

“You were born here. And as far as I’m aware, you’ve never even visited Russia.”

“It doesn’t matter. It’s in my blood,” I protest.

“Don’t be silly,” Liv chides. “Get in and you’ll get used to it.”

“I’ll sit at the edge and put my feet in. Will that satisfy you?”

“Will you shampoo my hair?”

“I’ll give you a five-star scalp massage if it keeps me from having to get all the way into that cauldron.”

“You’ve got yourself a deal.”

The first thing I do in the morning is check the gossip sites. There are a few articles about me, mostly speculation on who I’m really dating, but what I said at the conference seems to have worked.
