“What?” My waking mind tries to catch up with the new request. Bentley stands on the other side of me, pretending to ignore us as he leans over to grab luggage.
“I figured Bentley is going to be busy all night with Mira, so we could go somewhere off campus for dinner.” Axel shrugs. “We’ll go somewhere far from campus if you’re worried about people seeing us or something. But somewhere nice if you want.” He rubs the back of his neck, cheeks flaming red as the winter air mixes with his sudden shyness.
I smile as I glance over my shoulder, noticing Bentley’s warm smile as he watches us.
“We don’t have to. It was just an idea.”
I quickly step into him, pressing my chest against his. “Of course, I will go on a date with you, Axel.”
His eyes fly up to mine, teeth flashing as he smiles. “Really?”
I nod, pulling him closer. “But no hibachi’s, alright?”
Bentley groans and taps the top of the trunk, shutting it. All of our stuff sits on the lot at his feet, my duffel bag already over his shoulder.
“Okay,” Axel says with a grin. “No hibachi.” He and I join Bentley, the boys refusing to let me carry anything else after I swipe my tote before they can grab it. We walk toward the dorm, and I skip ahead a little, feeling bubbly.
“What should I wear?” I say over my shoulder, looking back at them as they grin watching me.
“Whatever you want.” Axel shrugs. “You look good in everything.”
“Thanks, but I need a little more direction than that,” I say, stopping and turning to face them. “Casual or fancy place?”
“Casual,” the guys both say as they catch up to me, separating so that I can turn and walk between them. Axel glances down at me. “Wear a dress.” His eyes drift down over me. “No tights.”
I purse my lips, crossing my arms over my chest to appear stern, even as his words light me on fire. “I’m going to freeze.”
Axel laughs, walking into the building when Bentley holds open the door for the two of us. “I’ll keep you warm,” he says as he turns around, walking backward and facing Bentley and me.
Bentley shakes his head beside me. He looks down at me. “Mira’s lucky I love her, because missing the chance to take you out first is killing me a little.”
“I’m not planning on going anywhere.” We stop in front of the elevator, Axel tapping his foot as he waits for it to arrive.“You’ll get your chance. Promise.” Bentley smiles, shuffling my duffel on his shoulder. “Or you could always just consider Kitsune Grill our first date.” I shrug, biting my lip to hold back a laugh.
Bentley shakes his head, walking onto the elevator behind Axel and me. “I am not considering the time we ended up sitting next to each other on dates with other people our first date.”
Axel’s eyebrows shoot up and I shrug, smile breaking through. “Suit yourself.”
The elevator doors close, Bentley moving to back me up into Axel’s chest. “Trust me, sunshine. Our first date will end much better than a stolen kiss in a back alley.”
My throat goes dry, and Axel’s chest moves at my back, forcing my breathing to match his own.
Bentley meets Axel’s eyes over my head. “And ours will be better than a tipsy blowjob.”
I suck in air and Axel snorts, hand coming up to palm the back of Bentley’s head. “Good luck beating that night.” The two meet for a kiss over my shoulder and I rub my thighs together between them.
Bentley steps back when the warning dings for the doors to open, breaking our connection. “But we’ll just have to wait for all that.”
We step out of the elevator, heading down the hall toward my dorm.
“I plan on telling Mira about us this week,” Bentley says once the door of my suite closes behind us.
Axel’s head shoots up. “You don’t have to.”
Bentley nods. “I know.” He sets our stuff down, standing back up to face Axel and me. “But I want her and Autumn to know and I promised it would be after Thanksgiving break.”
Axel nods and I step toward him, grabbing his hand. “I’ll be there when you tell them, if you want?” Mira and I had beenhanging out more in the suite before break and I didn’t want Bentley to tell her without me there, but I wouldn’t force my way in if he wanted to do it alone.
“Me too,” Axel says, stepping up and taking his other hand. “We do these things together, right?”
