I tap my lips. “Good answers earn me kisses.”

She doesn’t hesitate to press her lips to mine. Doesn’t demure when I deepen the kiss, and she doesn’t push me away when I grab her ass, pulling her closer so I can rub my dick against her. Thea loves a little public fornicating just as much as I do.

Her eyes are hooded when we break apart. “We’re gonna go to this party, have some fun, and when it’s over, you and I are gonna defile my bed.”

I feel the tip of her blade against my crotch. Her voice is low and sultry when she says, “I’ll bring my knife.”

Looking down at her hand, I muse, “Maybe we should fuck before the party.”

She chuckles, taking a step away. “No, we’re gonna be on time. I want to watch LJ step and do all the things.”

“Fine.” I pout. “But I mean it. Your ass is in my bed tonight. It’s been too long, Pet.”

She nods, biting her lower lip. “I agree.”

Chapter71

Thea

Iwhistle as the newest Lady Lions do their stroll through the party. LJ’s in the middle, a huge ass smile on her face. This is the happiest I’ve ever seen her, and I’m so proud of her for making it through.

I’m standing with my back against the wall, facing the door. There are other prospects here, and I don’t trust them. There hasn’t been another leaderboard shuffle challenge, but as the guys have explained, stealing points is an expected and accepted practice outside of a formal announcement.

Since I’m watching the door, I see whentheywalk in. People who don’t belong on campus. They’re here to meet someone. Either to sell drugs, pick up money or something else.

The reason why doesn’t matter. They don’t belong here. Saint would never condone them conducting business right on campus. Slim had dealings with Michael, who’s not here, so that means they have another connect.

I slip through the crowd, following them to the gaming area on the side of the house. The room empties out, and I stand outside the door, listening in. “You’re not at this school to party. You’re here for business. Don’t let this school student routine fool you into thinking you’re better than us.”

“I-I don’t. I’m doing my job. Blending in. Making connections and getting information like you told me.”

“Good. Now, I want you to pass on a message for me.”

“Sure. Whatever you need. Whatever the Skullz need.”

“This girl, Thea. Tell her I need to meet with her.”

I step into the room at the mention of my name. “Why don’t you tell me yourself?”

He takes a look at me and sneers at me like he finds me lacking. The feeling is mutual. “You? You’re the troublemaker I’ve heard so much about?”

“Who are you?” I ask, pressing my back to the wall. There may be other embedded Skullz out there.

“I’m the guy that’s about to come into some money.”

“Congratulations and condolences on your rich uncle’s death.”

He picks a nicknack up off the coffee table, tossing it in the air a few times before returning it. “I don’t have a rich uncle. But we can callyouauntie.”

“I’m too smart and pretty to be your aunt.”

He waves his hand in the air. “This is a really cushy setup you got here. A girl like you doesn’t get this type of opportunity too often. Nice school. Nice car. Nice family. It’s a far cry from where you came from in Nags Creek. It would be a shame for people to know the truth about you. You’d lose everything.”

He rubs his hands together. “I’m willing to give you a job, and as long as you work for me, you get to keep living like this.”

Is he trying to recruit me? He should’ve done his homework. There ain’t shit in this town that I’d be upset about losing, other than my friends.

Just as I anticipated, two other Skullz step into the room. “Now we can do this one of two ways. Fight in, or fuck in.”
