She makes it sound so basic. Clinical. I admire that she can compartmentalize, but she doesn’t need to do it with me. I heard what Pax said when she tried to thank him. He’s lucky he still has both legs to stand on. “I meant, together. Did you like Pax in your pussy, while Finn was in your mouth?”

“No.”

Arching a brow I parrot, “No?”

“No. Wolfe. I didn’t like it. I wanted more.”

“How much more?”

“I wanted you too, Wolfe. I wanted you to touch me, too. I wanted you fucking me.”

God, I love when she’s open and honest with me. It’s like a rare gift because she doesn’t bare her soul easily. “Away from them. Or with them? No lies, Thea.”

“With them. I wanted you in my ass, calling me your good girl, okay?”

“You are my good girl. And for that truth, you’ve earned a reward.”

I fuck my hand, hard, the way I want to pound her sweet hole. Her ass. Her mouth. “Thea, if our situation ever changes, you get all this dick. Any time and anywhere you want it. I’m gonna take you so hard and long and deep, you’ll think we’re fused together. There won’t be a part of you I haven’t touched, licked, or spit on.”

“Yes. Please, Wolfe.”

I glance down at the phone and see her face contorted. “Lower the phone. Spread those lips. Let me see you cum. Fuck your hand, Thea. Pretend I’m there. Pretend I’m inside of you.”

She’s chanting my name, the springs on her bed squeak as she thrusts her hips. Her hand stills, and I watch as her arousal coats her fingers and her body quivers.

“Fuck.” The sight sets me off and I release my load on the screen. She raises the phone and now it’s like I’m aiming for her tits. Then, finally, her face.

She giggles, a carefree sound, as my cock softness, and I struggle to catch my breath. “Good night, Wolfe.”

“Sleep well, sweetness.”

Chapter48

Thea

The loud thud of my pulse in my ears is like a soundtrack to my death as I drag myself out of bed to the bathroom. I know better than to drink too much, although I didn’t think I did. The last drink I remember getting was the rum and coke I fixed. Then I went… I went to find a bathroom, came back to LJ, who was dancing. We danced … a lot, and…

I rub my temples as if that will unclog the foggy spots in my memory. Hopefully, a hot shower and caffeine will help me work through what else I did last night. I step under the shower spray and tip my head back to wash my hair, which feels gross and drier than it should, considering I washed it yesterday.

I take my time letting my mind wander as the routine of cleaning myself grounds me. Sometimes, my best thinking is done when I’m not thinking at all.

Nothing comes to me, but I feel better once I’m done in the shower. I brush my teeth, giving extra attention to my cottony tongue. Once I’m dressed, I head out for food and caffeine, shooting LJ a text to let her know what I’m doing. She responds with a thumbs up emoji and says she’ll meet me there.

The campus is still quiet. I’m guessing everyone’s sleeping in this morning before final exams start tomorrow. Good, I’m not in the mood for people right now. My steps slow as I approach The Rock. Finn’s standing in front of it. The person he’s talking to has their back to me. He spots me and the guy turns around. My steps falter.

Coach Wolfe rarely hangs out on this side of campus. The way they’re looking at me leaves me unsettled. I shake the feeling off and walk through the doors. I sit in my usual seat after grabbing coffee and two breakfast croissants to help soak up the remaining alcohol in my system.

They both walk into the dining hall. Finn takes the seat across from me and Coach Wolfe stands off to the side, his arms folded across his chest. “Whatever it is, I just woke up, so I couldn’t have done it.” I say before taking a sip of my coffee.

“We need to talk about last night, Pet.”

“I was at a party. I have witnesses and a hangover as my alibi, so I didn’t do whatever happened last night, either.”

Wolfe’s jaw clenches. I’m already tired of this game. “What? Spit it out?”

“It’s not a hangover LaReaux. Someone drugged you last night.”

My focus snaps to Finn. Is that why Wolfe’s here? Because he has proof that Finn drugged me? Sitting back in my seat, I fold my hands across my chest. God, I need my knife. I scan the surrounding tables to see if someone left a knife out. I wonder if Wolfe would keep Finn from running off while I go grab one. I look over at him again. He promised to find my attackers and let me get revenge, so I think he would. I stand to my feet.
