“Touched me repeatedly against my wishes and flashed me your tits. I’d say you’re lucky Thea let you keep your nipples.”

When she looks at Finn, he flicks his knife open. “I suggest you put them away, doll, before I decide to gift them to my girl as a pair of earrings.”

The only person left to get sympathy from is Pax. He shrugs. “A Trium gave you a warning you disregarded. The consequence is always someone putting you on your ass.”

She climbs to her feet and swipes at her face. Switching tactics. “I’m gonna tell my daddy about this. She’s a nobody. She has no authority here, so there will be consequences forheractions.”

Thea’s on the other side of the room with LJ. She looks likes she’s having a good time, and I’m not gonna let anyone ruin it. Pax beats me to it when he says, “Maybe you and your daddy should brush up on the rules. Someone protecting a Trium willalwaysget a pass.”

Chapter81

Finn

Thea went all vigilante justice on that girl, and I loved it. I guess she worked up an appetite, because I overheard her saying she and LJ were going out for pancakes before coming back to the dorm. Pax, Holden, and I left the party soon after that. She wound up spending the night at LJ’s and has stayed gone for these last two days. It’s almost like she’s avoiding us.

Holden pinged her location on Prospectus. As of ten minutes ago, she was heading back to the dorm, so he’s waiting at the elevator for her. She shrieks as they walk through the door and is threatening to murder him in his sleep if he doesn’t put her down. He does once he reaches my bedroom and blocks the door so she can’t leave.

“Unfucking believable.” She’s glares at me with her arms folded over her luscious tits.

“Don’t be mad, Pet.”

“Are you fucking serious right now? Holden just tossed me over his shoulder and fireman carried me over here. Mad is not even a drop of the amount of the rage I’m feeling right now.”

“We wanted to talk to you.”

“Try, um, I don’t know… talking. There’s this thing called a phone, or paper and pen.”

“You’re right. We should have just asked you to come over, but we didn’t want you to say no.”

“Of course I would have said no. I have things to do.”

“You’ll have plenty of time to do them, Pet. But we need to talk about what happened at the party.”

“I know what it looked like, okay? And I heard the story she’s been telling around campus, but that shit wasn’t my fault. She had Holden pinned against the wall, and anyone could see he was uncomfortable. I was trying to help.”

“Oh, we know.” I step closer. “Which is why we want to thank you for coming to his rescue, and to say -once again- how truly, truly sorry we are, for all that shit we did to you in the beginning. Especially Pax.”

Not even he can find fault in what she did, since it was to help Holden. She looks over at Pax and rolls her eyes. “He doesn’t look like he’s sorry.”

“Trust me, he is.”

“Are you sorry, Pax?,” she asks.

He swallows and averts his gaze, too damn stubborn to admit he was wrong. Sucking her teeth, she says, “See? He stands by everything he’s ever said and done.”

“It appears so.” I press a kiss to her temple. “His loss is my gain. I get you all to myself.”

A throat clearing behind her disagrees. “Fine, I’ll share you with Holden, but only because I know he has no problem admitting how badly he fucked up. Although he’s been apologizing ever since you came back to campus.” I turn her towards the door so she can see the sincerity on Holden’s face.

“Never once has Holden said those words to me.”

He walks over to us, a hard glint in his eyes, and says, “I’m a man of action, Rey. I’ve been showing you how sorry I am. You just haven’t been paying attention. But tonight, I’ll be more clear. I’m gonna leave your skin bruised and battered. A tapestry of my apology.”

She sighs and melts against me, like that psychotic pronouncement was the swooniest shit she’s ever heard. This is why Holden’s obsessed with her. After that blow job in the woods, he confessed he’s been playing his little primal games with her. Some kind of weird immersion therapy to help her heal from her attack.

Girls usually freak out and avoid Holden, if they get even a small glimpse of what he’s into. It’s why having them sign an NDA is so important. But Thea never once let on that it was happening. And the ways she took him down her throat and let him use her, it’s clear she understands his needs and embraces it.

This girl is everything either of us could ever want. She lets him go dark, she goes stabby like me, and has some sort of daddy praise kink happening with Coach Wolfe that we’re not supposed to know about. I guess that tracks since our girl has hella daddy issues.
