"You don't understand what it's like to be a woman working in a man's world. I've had to fight and claw my way to where I am now. But after this, everyone will think I slept my way to head coach."
"That's why we'll go with you. We can explain to the owners what really happened."
"And what really happened? I'll tell you what happened. I fell for three guys and slept with all three of them at the same time. That sounds even better. "Her sarcastic tone isn't lost on any of us, but neither is the part where she says she fell for us. "Look, I appreciate the thought." She softens her tone. "But this is something I have to do on my own."
Knowing she's right, we nod and let her walk out the door, but not before we throw on our clothes and follow at a safe distance so she can't see us.

"I'm sorry about whatjust happened. I promise it will never happen again." I look from one brother to the next, gauging their reaction to what they just witnessed. It's not everyday your new head coach is caught with three cocks stuffed in each of her holes. If only the ground would open up and swallow me right now.
Daylen, Raiden, and Kepler have been amazing bosses, taking a chance on me to coach their team and here I am disappointing them by have sex with three of their players.
Finally, Daylen, the oldest of the three Sullivan brothers, speaks: "Do you care for Maximus, King, and Monk? Or is this a power trip for you?"
Power trip? What the fuck?
"Of course, I care for them. I wouldn't have let them do what they did to me if I didn't." My anger flares at his accusation. "If you think I'm the type of person who just goes around spreading her legs on some kind of power trip, then maybe I'm not the right coach for this team." No, fuck him. "Actually, maybe this team and its backward attitude isn't the right team for me." I push myself out of the chair, ready to stomp out of the owner's office, when Raiden, one of the other brothers, stops me.
"No need to get so defensive, Coach Flannery. What Daylen was getting at is we area very open-minded team, but we do not believe in holding power over someone by using sexual favors."
"Also. "Kepler, the final brother, adds. "We can't exactly have you sleeping with the entire team—two or three is fine, but any more than that, can you imagine the fallout if there was a lover quarrel?" A twinkle in his eyes leads me to believe he might enjoy a little drama.
I breathe a sigh of relief, knowing they aren't as mad at me as I thought they would be about finding me in such a compromising position at work with three of their players. "Sorry, Mr.Sullivans. It won't happen again. And for the record, it is only three players."
This time, Kepler bursts out laughing at my confession: "Oh, I like her. I'm glad we hired her. She is going to be fun." He says this between barks of laughter.
"We're not prudes by any means, but just be a little more discreet in the arena ,understood?" Daylen says, and I nod my head.
"Understood Mr. Sullivan."
"No need for all the Mr. Sullivan bullshit. It will get way too confusing since there are three of us—call us by our first names."
"I will do that, Raiden." I stand, getting ready to leave the office, when my curiosity gets the best of me. "What about Hightower? What are you going to do with him?"
"He's off the team," Daylen replies with a slash of his hand through the air. "We don't need people like him on the team."
"But what about a goalie? We're still short one."
"Don't worry, coach. We have our eye on one we plan to bring up from the minor leagues." Kepler says. "I think she'll be a good fit for the team."
"She?" can't help but ask. Teagan Hayes from the Minnesota Norse is the only female pro hockey player playing in the men's league.
"Yes, she. The Norse can't have all the glory of having a female player on their team. Besides, she's really good." Kepler smirks. "Now, you'd better get out there and let your boyfriends know you're okay so they stop taking turns glaring at us through the tiny strip of glass on the door.
I whip my head around to look at the door, and sure enough, King, Maximus, and Monk are all taking turns placing their face against the glass to glare at the team owners.
"Sorry about them—they mean well." I nod toward the door.
"It's fine. It just means they care for you deeply." Daylen guides me to the door with a hand on the middle of my back.
"You might want to take your hand off of her back, Daylen. I can hear them growling through the door." Kepler laughs.
"Be quiet, Kepler. I'm sure they're not that bad." No sooner are the words out of Daylen's mouth as he pushes the door open than King, Monk, and Maximus pull me free of his touch.
"I don't care if you are one of the owners—she's ours—that means no touching." Maximus snarls while King and Monk nod in agreement.
