“You work for Allyn Romano, right redhead?” I asked, giving her a good look.
She nodded almost imperceptibly.
“You know, she won’t be happy if she finds you here.”
“She won’t mind,” she whispered, blushing even more.
“Oh, she would mind, alright.” I smiled wickedly at her. I wasn’t going to spare her any details just because I’m the dick she accused me of being. I leaned in as if I was going to tell her a secret.
“She rides the same cock you beg for, little redhead.” Her reaction was priceless.
Horror, disgust, shock, seeing that face made it all worth it. She jumped up from the bed as if I’d burned her, disgust written all over her face while my smile grew wider and wider.
That’s right—I want her the fuck away from me.
“You’re a fucking pervert,” she almost screamed in my face, her voice filled with anger and disgust. “When Mikael finds out about the lies you’re spreading about his daughter, he will kill you.”
“I’m already dead, redhead. I don’t really fucking care,” I replied evenly, wanting her to get the hell out of my face.
“Either Mikael will finish you off, or Theo Stone will, for daring to tell such lies about his future wife.”
I needed a moment to process what this chick had just said, but when it hit me, something inside of me completely flipped.
I made an attempt to get up, causing the chains around my wrists to stretch, making a ringing sound, and digging into my skin. The only thing saving the little bitch in front of me is that I’m chained to this bed.
She jumped back like a frightened dog.
“Repeat what you just said,” I said through gritted teeth. If looks could kill, this bitch would already be six feet under.
“Theo Stone will come for your head once he hears about the lies you’re spreading about his future wife,” she said, her voice rising, cutting deeper into me with every word.
“About Allyn.”
CHAPTER50
ALLYN
I paced through the halls of the mansion, my mind in chaos.
Garrett Stone— the devil dressed in an expensive suit. He walked into our territory well-prepared and played his cards right.
And the moment I saw Mikael’s eyes lock onto mine, his expression blank, I knew it was a losing game for me.
As Garrett made it crystal clear, it was not my decision to make.
My freedom wasn’t mine once again. My father decides for me, and he decided to give my hand to Theo Stone. He saved me from The Kings, only to throw me into yet another arranged marriage.
He’s a traitor, just like my old family.
Mikael tried to justify his decision, trying to sell me the bullshit that he was doing it for my own good—that it would benefit us.
He even had the audacity to bring my biological mother into this.
He claimed their marriage was arranged. He didn’t love her, and neither did she.
Do I know anything about my biological mother? No, she’s dead.
Every time I dared to ask about her, Mikael shut me down, denying me any answers. He didn’t even offer me her name. I don’t know when, how, or why she died. He doesn’t want to talk about her, and maybe the less I know, the better.
