‘Hell yeah, best seat in the house,’ I say as I walk out onto the deck that overlooks the beach. ‘Now let’s count the moments until that sassy little boy shows up…’
As it turns out, I don’t have to wait too long.
No sooner than I’ve put my butt down on the seat than I hear the sound of a boy approaching behind me.
My Daddy senses tells me it’s Nick, and as usual my instincts don’t let me down.
‘I’m not late, am I?’ Nick says, a nervous smile on his face. ‘I showered as quickly as I could.’
‘Thirty seconds, maybe forty-five, but who’s counting?’ I laugh, standing up and putting my hand on Nick’s shoulder. ‘Take a seat, I’ll let Jack know we’re ready to order.’
‘What should I get?’ Nick says, scanning his eyes over the table-top menu. ‘I’m not really an expert when it comes to healthy juices!’
‘Don’t worry, I’ve got you,’ I reply, offering a reassuring smile. ‘I know you probably don’t want a hardcore super-green juice. But I’ll make sure you get something tasty and healthy too.’
‘Thank you, Daddy,’ Nick replies, his dimples driving me absolutely wild. ‘What happens if I can’t finish it? Can I have an ice cream instead?’
‘We’ll see,’ I reply, knowing exactly what I’ll do to his big, perfectly round booty if he sasses me too hard. ‘Be a good boy and drink your smoothie. I’ll leave the rest to your imagination…’
We both smile and get to talking as we wait for our drinks.
It turns out that me and the boy have plenty in common. Long walks, cheesy action films, and more than a passing love of kink are just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to our shared interest.
But there’s a practical connection too…
‘So wait, you’ve got the land, you’ve got the architect plans, but you can’t find a construction manager to run the operation?’ I say, raising my eyebrow.
‘It seems like the big builders all know about my past in finance,’ Nick says, a sad look on his face. ‘Which means an extra zero gets added on to the quote. It’s sucks. Plus apparently if I want to jump ahead in the waiting lists, which I don’t even know if they exist in real life, will cost me another zero at the end of the bill.’
‘Fucking assholes,’ I bark, knowing exactly the kinds of scams that these builders are running. ‘Boy, I know this might be complicated but…’
‘Yes, Daddy?’ Nick says, a hopeful look on his face. ‘Please say what I think you’re about to say! Please-please-please…’
Nick certainly didn’t make his millions without being a perceptive boy.
He knows exactly what I’m going to propose – but I know it could get very complicated between us.
But that’s not to say it couldn’t work –ifwe lay the rules out clearly.
‘I would take on the project, and do it for a fair price,’ I say, my tone clear and to the point. ‘But if we’re going to be getting closer in our personal life, I have to make one thing very clear.’
‘What’s that?’ Nick says, grinning from ear to ear.
‘When things get personal, I need to know that our professional relationship remains the same,’ I say. ‘And by that I mean… you don’t try to tell me how to do my job. The one thing I can’t handle is a client trying to dominate proceedings. I’m in charge.’
‘Of course!’ Nick says, not taking what I’m saying seriously.
‘I mean it, boy,’ I growl. ‘I’ll always listen to what you need and take feedback on the work. But if you try to meddle or become too pushy then that’s when I’ll need to discipline you. And I meanseriousdiscipline.’
‘I’ll be a good client,’ Nick says. ‘It’ll be tough for me not to be too involved, but I’ll try my best. I guess I should start by saying my safeword isemoji.’
‘Emoji?’ I reply, taking a mental note. ‘Perfect. If we work together and don’t cross any boundaries as far as work is concerned, there’s no reason this can’t be the smoothest project ever.’
‘I know it will be, Daddy,’ Nick giggles, clearly very excited. ‘So how about we get these juices to go and head over to my place now?’
‘Thirty seconds and you’re already forgetting what we said?’ I laugh. ‘Something tells me that your butt is going to be getting warmed up sooner rather than later. But, yeah, let’s go.’
I stand up and offer my hand to Nick.
