“Do you think you’d like to try being my boy?”

“I would,” Mitch said. “I just don’t think I should.”

Not exactly the answer Byron wanted. But they could talk about this. Keeping hold of Mitch’s hand, he rose to bring Mitch out of his seat. “Let’s talk somewhere more comfortable.”

“Sure.” Mitch looked around the room.

Deciding for him Byron led Mitch to the couch. He sat in the corner before he pulled Mitch into his lap. His boy fits perfectly. The slim body easily wrapped up with Byron’s muscles.

Mitch shifted nervously until Byron tugged him close and situated him. Mitch relaxed but he was still fidgeting with the pacifier. Byron needed to get him something else to play with when they were talking.

“That’s better,” Byron announced placing his palm in Mitch’s knee with his other arm around Mitch’s waist. “Now you said you wanted to be my boy even if you shouldn’t. Can you expand on that?”

Mitch sighed. “My father… he doesn’t like to be told no. He ignores the fact that I’m gay. Unless it’s a benefit to the firm with one of the clients anyway. I don’t know how he’d react if I was in a relationship. I’ve been warned more than once that it’s better to show up alone to events than to bring an inappropriate date.”

“And I wouldn’t be someone your father would accept.”

“I’m sorry.”

Byron laughed. “I’m not upset,” Byron assured him. “I may be younger than you but I’m an adult. I make my own decision. I’ve chosen my career path. I’m happy what I’m doing. I like riding my Harley and dressing the way I do. I love my tattoos and each one has a meaning.”

Mitch began to finger the black ink around Byron’s wrist that went up to his arm. Byron had two full sleeves.

“Yes, I get funny looks. Especially from other Professors but their opinions don’t matter to me.”

“I wish I had your confidence. I always feel like I’m being judged. Hell, I know I am.”

“That’s something that I would be happy to help you with. You don’t need to change yourself for anyone. Not even me.”

Mitch nodded. “I know that. It’s just hard.”

“I can imagine,” Byron said sincerely. “Other than your father not approving are there other reasons that you hesitate to get involved with me? My age for instance?”

There were several men that Byron had dated that hadn’t thought he could give them what they needed. Having a younger Daddy was just too taboo for some.

“No,” Mitch answered. “It gave me pause when I first met you but since I’ve gotten to know you better, I can see that being a Daddy is just natural to you. Like it is with Jace and Grant. I don’t think age has anything to do with having the Daddy instincts.”

“You would be correct.” Byron might be younger than the other Daddy Dom’s that Mitch knew but Byron had more experience. His years in the BDSM community had shown him the kind of man Byron wanted to be.

“I know you want to be a Daddy to me but that doesn’t tell me much. There are so many different types of Daddy Doms,” Mitch confessed.

“Again, you are correct,” Byron agreed. “Jace was made to be a Daddy to a little like Avery. He needs that. Grant is perfect for Caleb. Their desires match up better than I’ve seen in a long time.” He took a deep breath. It wasn’t easy to explain what he was looking for. “They both have a twenty-four-seven lifestyle. That is also what I’m looking for. You don’t have to be with me at all times. I know you have a career that you excel at.” Even if there were other firms Mitch could work at. “But whether you are at work or home I would need you to follow the schedule and rules I out in place.”

“A full power exchange?” Mitch asked.

“Yes,” Byron responded. “I would be in charge of everything. You would be able to come home after work and just relax. On the weekends you wouldn’t have to worry about anything because I would take care of everything you might need.”

“That sounds good but I don’t know…it’s one thing to want something and another to actually do it,” Mitch said.

“Yes, but that’s true with any relationship. The start of any relationship is two people learning about each other.”

“It’s a bit different when I’m giving up all control to you,” Mitch pointed out.

“Yes and that’s why we’ll have safe words in place. I think I know what you need but you always have a say. You can stop anything at any time,” Byron told him. “I’m a strong believer in using safe words. I won’t say to play because I want more than you playing a part. I want you committed to making this work.”

Mitch nodded.

“You need to really think about this though,” Byron said. “After I leave here tonight, I’m going to email you a contract. There will be no end date. This contract will outline the rules you are to follow, both mine and your safe words, and what my duties to you will entail. You will be able to add and delete from that section. You’ll also have a checklist of what you want and what I want. There will be different levels-“
