“Your moving in!” Caleb announced. He bounced a little. “We should celebrate!”

Grant chuckled. “So cute. You actually think you get to celebrate before you serve your punishment.”

Caleb pushed his bottom lip out. “Punishment?”

“Yes boy. You have a punishment to serve before we can celebrate. And Daddy might have some special treats if you do a good job.”

“Okay.” Caleb huffed. “What is my punishment?”

“Cleaning.”

“Cleaning?” Caleb repeated. “Cleaning what?”

“Everything.”

Caleb gulped.

Grant patted his knee. “It will be good practice for your daily chores.”

“Oh.” Okay, it couldn’t be that bad, right?

“You going to be a good boy for Daddy?”

“Yes, Daddy.”

“Let’s get started.”

Grant

Grant couldn’t help but grin at the absolutely miserable look on his boy’s face. Instead of laying around or playing Caleb had spent the entire day cleaning up. Under Grant’s watchful eye of course.

Caleb had tried to get out of some of his less favorable chores but Grant wasn’t giving into his boy’s pouting. Grant simply raised a brow and Caleb would straighten his shoulders and do what Grant wanted. Caleb had worked hard all day and Grant couldn’t have been any prouder.

Now in a bubble bath, Caleb was moaning from his sore muscles.

“You okay baby?” Grant asked for the third time.

Caleb nodded even though he still looked miserable. “I did good?”

“You did wonderfully.” The hardest part of the day had been when Caleb had cleaned up the closest. Realizing that he’d destroyed his pretty clothes had broken his boy. Grant had purposely left the closest for last and that was a good thing. His boy was now done. But Grant had some surprises for his boy. He ran his fingers through Caleb’s wet hair. “Let Daddy get you clean so we can cuddle and relax.”

“K.” Caleb closed his eyes as Grant picked up a washcloth.

Grant cleaned up his boy enjoying this bath much more than the shower the previous night.

He’d taken off from work for a few days in order to get Caleb settled. Grant hadn’t really thought of officially moving in although he had planned to spend most of his time there. But he wasn’t opposed either.

Grant finished washing his boy before he pulled the plug from the tub. “Let’s get you out.”

Caleb lifted his arms and Grant leaned down and helped him up. He kept his arm around Caleb until he was standing on the bathmat. Grant grabbed the towel he’d laid out earlier then dried every inch of his boy.

“Come on baby,” Grant urged.

“I don’t have any pretty clothes to wear,” Caleb said sadly.

“It’s all going to be okay,” Grant assured him. He led Caleb into the bedroom and straight to the bed where he’d laid out one of his surprises.

“Daddy?” Caleb stumbled when he saw the outfit.
