“I do,” Grant responded. “We’ll look at what classes are offered. It would be good if you could get something at the same time or days as Avery. Now that he’s going full-time. You’d already have a friend that you’d know on campus.”

Caleb sat up. “He wouldn’t mind?”

Grant chuckled. “According to Jace, his boy has already asked several times if you were still going to come over to play. He thought you were really pretty and sweet.”

“Aww.” Caleb hugged Grant. He might have his first real friend.

“In fact, we’re already planning a bar-b-que for next weekend.”

“Really?” Caleb bounced.

“Yes, really baby.”

“That’s so cool,” Caleb said. “I think I should get Avery something. What do you think? Would that be okay? Is Mitch going to be there? I don’t want him to feel left out.”

“You don’t have to buy their friendship,” Grant said.

Caleb sighed. That was what he’d been planning on doing.

“I think it would be a better idea to buy something that the three of you can play with together, as friends.”

Caleb brightened. That was a good idea. “Will you help me pick?”

“I will. But that leaves one more thing to talk about.”

“Okay.”

Grant cleared his throat and shifted as if he was uncomfortable. That made Caleb nervous. But he had to be patient until his Daddy was ready.

“You have a lot more money than I do.”

Caleb nodded slowly. People were strange about his money. They either wanted to use him for it or didn’t want to ever touch it. He knew that Grant didn’t want to use him but did that mean that he wouldn’t accept it?

“I would like us to open an account together. One for household expenses. We both put the same amount in the account every month.”

Caleb blinked as he thought about Grant’s suggestion. “For household expenses?”

“For decorating, meals, and any other changes we want to make to the house.”

“Our house. If we have household expenses it should be our house.”

“Are you asking me to move in with you?” Grant asked with wide eyes.

Caleb bobbed his head happily. “I want you here all the time.”

“You might feel different about that after a few days or weeks following my rules.”

“No I won’t,” Caleb argued. “You’re the only one who ever cared enough to give me rules.”

Grant smiled. “You understand it’s because I care that I made the rules right? I want you to be happy and I think you need structure to be truly happy.”

“I know,” Caleb said. A domestic discipline relationship might not be what he’d ever considered having but it fit what Caleb needed. Plus, he wanted the complete power exchange.

“And you know that you're safe word works for any situation? Even if it’s a rule. Your safe word would override everything.” He tapped Caleb’s chin. “That doesn’t mean you can use it to get out of your chores.”

“I’ll be good.” Caleb wanted to be the best boy.

“I know you will be,” Grant gave him a kiss.
