“Yes, Daddy?”

“Clean up properly. Or I’ll take your present away,” Grant said.

Damn, Grant knew him a little too well. “Yes, sir.”

Caleb raced to his room. Daisy and Gunny got excited and ran with him. As he entered his room Daisy knocked into his legs and Caleb had to grab the door to keep from falling. The door banged into the wall.

“Caleb?”

“I’m okay,” he yelled back. “Daisy got excited.”

“Daisy got excited because you were running. Slow down and be careful.”

“Sorry, Daddy.” Caleb turned to Daisy and stuck out his tongue for getting him in trouble. Daisy tilted her head then gave a butt wiggle. Caleb laughed and hugged her neck. It wasn’t her fault and she was such a good girl.

“I don’t hear the water running Caleb,” Grant called.

Caleb scrambled to the bathroom so he could clean up. He tried to hurry while still following directions and cleaning himself up. Then he had to find another pair of panties.

When he made it back to the living room there were bags set out on the coffee table.

“All of those are for me?” Caleb asked. He didn’t know what to do.

“Come here,” Grant patted his thigh. He’d pulled on his jeans although they were still unzipped. He didn’t wear a shirt which made Caleb happy. He liked suckling his Daddy’s nipples.

Caleb walked over to Grant and perched on his knee.

“Here open this one first,” Grant handed him the medium-sized bag.

Caleb pulled the bag down and revealed a box with a doll inside. “A baby? You bought me a baby?”

“I thought Lizzie might get lonely sometimes and want a sister,” Grant told him.

Caleb nodded. He’d always wanted to have more dolls but he didn’t have any place to stash them. Lizzie took up most of the room in the chest. “She’s so pretty.”

“I’m glad you like her. She comes with stuff too, see?” Grant turned the box in his arms around and showed him that the new doll came with a hairbrush, some outfits, and bottles. It was a full set.

Caleb looked over at Lizzie. He didn’t have all that for his first doll.

“I thought the girls could share the brush and the box comes with two bottles. But I got some stuff for Lizzie as well.”

“You did?” Caleb whispered. Tears already falling.

“Here.” Grant handed him the smaller bag.

Caleb hugged the box. “Will you open it for me?”

“Sure.” Grant kissed his temple then pulled out three new outfits. “I figured Lizzie has had the same clothes for a while. I thought she’d like something new.”

Caleb sobbed. “She would. And they’re pretty clothes.”

“Just like my boy’s pretty clothes.”

“Thank you, Daddy.” He leaned forward to kiss Grant but Grant grinned. “One more thing for now.”

“For now?”

Grant shook his head then took the box from Caleb.
