“You don’t like to cook?”

“I don’t know how.”

Grant frowned and walked over to the fridge. He opened it and Caleb knew what he would find. Several premade meals that just needed to be popped the microwave. Caleb didn’t use his oven. Grant was shaking his head but smiled as he turned back to Caleb. “No big deal. What’s next.”

Relieved Caleb grabbed Grant’s arm and pulled him down the hall. Caleb showed him the small office he never used, a couple of guest rooms, the gym which had Grant salivating, and finally came to the room that he claimed as his to any guests.

“This is my room,” Caleb told him standing in the hall.

Grant walked in and strolled around. The gray bedspread matched the light gray walls. There was a bookcase with some of Caleb’s favorite books. A DVD collection of new and old movies although Caleb didn’t even know if it worked. He’d never used it. These were all for decorations. But he thought he’d set it up pretty well.

Grant sat on the end of the bed and patted his knee. “Come here, boy.”

Yes! Caleb hurried over. Maybe the request for a tour was just to see his room. Where his bed is. He climbed onto Grant’s knee and reached for his shirt.

“Caleb.” Grant caught his hands.

“Yes?” Caleb gave Grant his best fuck me eyes.

“This isn’t your room.”

He scrambled off Grant’s knee. “What?”

Grant rose as well. He walked over to where Caleb was standing. “Do you think I don’t know you boy? That I can’t see how much you hide behind dark colors and what you think other people like?”

“I don’t know what you’re talking about.”

“Caleb, please don’t lie to me. Not to me. I care about you and I want to get to know the real you.”

“I…”

“You can safe word and I’ll let the subject drop for now,” Grant told him.

“You’ll leave,” Caleb said knowingly. He could show Grant his bedroom or Grant would end their date.

“Nope, not getting rid of me that easily. If you chose to safeword we’ll go cuddle on the couch for the rest of the evening. I did say that I needed my cuddles from my boy.”

“You aren’t mad?” Caleb could feel himself wanting to give in. He wanted to test Grant before Caleb fell any harder for this man.

“Not mad, disappointed yes, but if you aren’t ready then I’ll deal with it. I am not going to leave you, my boy.”

“Follow me.” Caleb kept his head down as he walked out of the room, back down the hall, and through the living space once again. The short hallway led to the master bedroom that no one else got to see.

He stopped outside of the closed door.

“This is where you sleep at night?”

“Yes, Daddy.”

“Move aside,” Grant ordered.

Caleb stepped back.

He couldn’t watch as Grant opened the door and flicked the light on. He turned his back as Grant walked into the secret space.

Grant

Grant stepped into the space and smiled. This, this was what he’d wanted to see. This was the real Caleb.
