Avery nodded. “Okay.”

“Okay?”

“I don’t know how long this dream will last. If I’m in a coma, is it considered a dream?” He put his face back to Jace’s chest and sniffed. “God, you smell so good.”

“Avery.”

Avery sniffed again. Maybe he could get away with licking coma-Jace. That had to be allowed.

“Avery!”

“What?” he whined. “I wanna lick you.”

“Jesus Christ,” Jace said with a groan. “Avery, this is not a dream and you are not in a coma. This is real.”

Avery stiffened.No.“It can’t be.”

Jace laughed then very slowly lifted his hand to Avery’s arm and pinched.

“Ow!” Avery rubbed his arm.

“Not asleep or in a coma.”

“Shit!” Avery scrambled up and off Jace’s lap. He would have fallen if Jace hadn’t reached out and steadied him. “I…You…We…shit!”

“Okay.” Jace stood and held his hands up. “I know you’re surprised but we’re going to have to work on your language.”

“My language?”

“Baby boys should not be cussing.”

Avery just blinked at him. “Baby boys?!” His mind whirled and he had a flash of some of the porn he’d watched after he’d first met Jace. Plus, his human sexuality course at the university was very insightful when it came to different sexual urges. He had a little knowledge about kinks and wasn’t totally clueless. “Baby boys who have a Daddy?”

Jace beamed at him. “That is absolutely correct.”

“You want to be my Daddy?” He had to get clarification.

“I do.”

“For sex?” Avery wasn’t a virgin but he wasn’t very experienced either. He could probably handle sex with Jace, though. He just didn’t know how long he could hide his true feelings.

Jace closed the distance between them and cupped Avery’s face. “I’m a Daddy Dom who’s looking for a boy to belong to me. I want more than just sex.”

“With me?” He had to be sure.

“With you, Avery.” Jace kissed his forehead.

“Why?”

Jace smiled but lights from the street flashed over them. Damn, the bus was about to pull up.

“That’s your ride. Are you sure you won’t allow me to drive you home?”

Avery wanted to, but he knew it wasn’t a good idea. “Not tonight.” Plus, he should really think about what Jace was saying. He couldn’t have a Daddy. Okay, he’d never actually had a dad and even though Jace was probably a good one, Avery was grown.

“I can accept that, little Avery. But can I have your phone for a minute? I would like to put my number in your phone and have yours.”

Avery stared at Jace. He wanted his number? “Yes.”
