At the commercial break, he turned his head and Jace’s nipple was right there. Avery removed his binkie before he latched on to Jace’s nipple.
“That’s it, baby,” Jace praised. “Good boy. Relax for Daddy.”
Avery hummed and closed his eyes until he heard his show come back on. He didn’t want to release Jace, though.
His Daddy solved the problem by moving them a tad to the side so he could still see the screen without moving his mouth. Avery sucked and soothed himself with Jace’s nipple as the new otter at the zoo met with the other otters. He was joining a new family and Avery hoped they weren’t mean to him.
He enjoyed his show for a while but could feel his Daddy had grown hard against him. Avery dropped his hand to slip it under Jace’s lounge pants. His Daddy had changed into comfy clothes before they settled down and Avery liked them much more than his jeans.
Avery was able to have his fingers wrapped around his Daddy’s erection while watching television and sucking his nipple. He didn’t think there had been a better cuddle session than this, ever.
Another episode ended and Avery released the nipple he’d had in his mouth. Jace’s hard nipple was red from Avery’s attention, so he placed a gentle kiss on the nub. Then he kissed a trail down Jace’s stomach.
He pulled his hand from Jace’s pants before he pushed the front of them down. Jace lifted his butt off the couch so Avery was able to get the lounge pants down below Jace’s balls. Avery scooted down farther so he was laying his head on Jace’s pelvis.
As the intro for the next episode started, Avery grasped Jace’s cock and popped the tip in his mouth. He just wanted to suck for a little while.
Jace didn’t say anything, didn’t try to get Avery to take him deeper, or thrust inside. He allowed Avery to gently suckle him. It was heaven.
CHAPTER TEN
AVERY
Avery was dying. There was no question whatsoever that he would not live through the night. With his entire body aching and sweat coating every inch of his flesh, he kicked off the blankets covering him with a pathetic moan. His phone gave off a series ofdingsbut his head hurt so much he couldn’t even roll over to grab his phone. He needed to do…something. He just couldn’t remember what.
He’d woken that morning feeling like death warmed over, barely making it to the toilet and throwing up what felt like everything he’d eaten in the past month. He’d managed to crawl back in bed and buried under the covers but that was all. The only time he moved was when he had to throw up or use the bathroom, which seemed to be every two minutes. He’d even considered just sleeping on the bathroom floor but it smelled too bad from him being sick so he really would throw up more.
His phone began to ring and he cried out while clutching his revolting stomach. Avery slapped his hand around the covers until he found the little device. It had stopped ringing, probably going to voice mail. He held up the phone. 8:13. Was that morning or night? He couldn’t remember. No, he had texted Cathy about noon when he’d been able to sit up for more than two minutes. He had never called in sick before but there was no way he was making it to work.
Narrowing his eyes as they adjusted to the bright screen, he saw that he had twenty-two messages and fourteen missed calls. Holy shit, no one had ever tried that hard to get a hold of him. Had the zombie apocalypse finally happened while he’d been dying in his apartment?
He closed his eyes as exhaustion tried to take him once again, but then the phone started to ring in his hand. He jumped, releasing the device, and it hit him in the nose. He grunted in pain but managed to answer the phone this time.
“’Lo?” he croaked. Oh God, his throat hurt.
“Avery! Thank God, baby boy! I’m on my way to you. Are you okay?” Jace rushed to say.
Avery’s head was pounding. “I’m dying, Daddy!” he whispered.
“No, no, baby boy. It’s okay,” Jace assured him. “Jasmin is following me over to your apartment to let me in. I’ll be there soon.”
Yes, that was what he needed. Daddy would fix him. Daddy would fix everything. “Hurry, Daddy,” he pleaded. “I can’t…”
“I know, my sweet boy,” Jace soothed. “Almost there.”
Thank God.Avery needed Jace to take the pain away, to make the room stop spinning, and hopefully make his brain stop ramming against this skull. The flashes of the day he could remember didn’t make a whole lot of sense. He thought he’d tried to take a shower at some point, right? Or maybe that was a dream. He wished he could shower but since he only crawled everywhere, that didn’t make sense. He was just so sick. He’d never ever been this sick in his whole entire life. Why was he so sick? What day was it? Had he called Jace? Was his Daddy coming or was that just another dream? He moaned. He wanted his Daddy. If he could reach his phone, could he call him?
“Shh, it’s okay, sweet boy.”
There! There was Daddy’s voice. And hand! Jace was running a hand over his head. That felt so good. He whimpered.
“Oh, Avery,” Jace said quietly. “It’s all okay. It’s going to be just fine.”
“I’m dying, Daddy!” he thought he whined.
“No, you’re not,” Jace told him. “You’re sick, but Daddy knows just what to do.”
“I turned off the shower,” someone else said. “I don’t know how long it was running. The water was completely cold.”
