Page 43 of Baby Boy

“Jace, please,” Avery panted. He needed to come.

“Almost, baby boy, almost.” Jace circled Avery’s shaft with his big hand and Avery thrust up into the hold.

Jace’s hips kept Avery’s leg open wide as his Daddy pounded into him.

“Now, boy, come for Daddy,” Jace ordered.

Avery threw his head back as he finally got the release he’d been chasing. The heat of Jace’s seed filled the condom.

“Good boy,” Jace said as he peppered kisses along Avery’s neck.

“Good Daddy,” Avery mumbled back before he closed his eyes. He was fucking tired now.

CHAPTER SEVEN

JACE

It had been a long week and Jace was miserable. As he waited for Mitch to join him for lunch on Friday afternoon, he was really missing his boy. He spoke to Avery every night and they texted throughout the day, but Avery had worked every shift he could during the week when not at school and at nights until after ten. Their schedules weren’t meshing and Jace wanted his boy back in his home.

Jace had a hard time even keeping up with Avery’s schedule. The restaurant had started to call Avery back in for dinner shifts. He’d worked every night that week. He worked at the coffee shop on Monday and Wednesday morning and Friday late afternoon. Went to school Tuesday morning and Thursday afternoons. Then he picked up food deliveries through an app on Tuesday and Thursdays and between shifts of the coffee shop on Monday and Wednesday.

Avery had even been planning on working that night but Jace had talked him into taking the night off after his shift at the coffee shop. At least Avery would be getting off at eight and not eleven or twelve. He was already picking up a shift the next night from six to midnight, which meant another full little day was out of the question, but hopefully the morning would give him time to relax.

Jace already had their night planned for later.

If Avery was going to work himself to death, then Jace would counteract the stress the boy had to be feeling. He had washed and set out a bottle. After a bath, Avery would get his snuggle time on the couch with a movie and bottle. That would have him relaxing until Jace could tuck him into bed.

When they woke in the morning, Jace was hoping to talk Avery into a little playday until he needed to get ready for work. Jace wasn’t sure if Avery had any schoolwork that needed to be done but they’d work it out.

His boy needed a better schedule and Jace was fighting every instinct he had not to overstep.

It was a lot harder than he’d ever imagined holding back when all he wanted to do was wrap Avery up in warmth and caring.

“Why are you frowning?” Mitch asked as he sat across from Jace.

Jace looked up to his friend and held in a gasp. Mitch looked like shit. “What the hell, man? Have you not been sleeping?”

Mitch sighed. “I knew I should have canceled,” he muttered.

Jace leaned forward. “No, you shouldn’t. You need to let me help you. Let your friends help you. You can’t continue like this. The bags under your eyes have bags. Shit, they have suitcases.” He didn’t even feel like he was exaggerating.

“It’s all right. I’m just so fucking tired,” Mitch admitted.

“What do you need? Please, Mitch, tell me how to help you.”

Mitch dropped his head. Jace might not be Mitch’s Daddy but he knew when a boy was hurting. “I don’t know. I just…don’t know.”

“Come home with me,” Jace begged. “We can figure everything out.”

“I can’t,” Mitch said. “I have a meeting this afternoon that I can’t get out of.”

“Tonight,” Jace pressed. “I can pick you up after work.”

“I know you already have plans with your boy tonight,” Mitch said. “I’m not ruining your night.”

“You wouldn’t be ruining anything,” Jace assured him. “Avery would understand.”

Mitch shook his head. “No, you need this time. So does your boy.”
