She chuckled. “I was wounded, too.”

I glanced over my shoulder at her. “You were?”

“Yes. Brock shielded my body as he jumped off the porch. We hit the ground pretty hard. Arlis gave me something for the pain. And he’s keeping a close eye on me. Last night, I felt it was moreimportant to be pleased by my man. I'll take it easy tomorrow and give myself some time to rest."

She swayed her hip from left to right. “I want to dance this evening. We will be the life of the party at your reception.”

Asia and Simone snapped their fingers and danced in a circle.

I burst into laughter. “Oh, we’re definitely going to have a great time.”

“Bianca spill the tea,” Asia whispered, peeking over her shoulder.

“About what?” I peered at a dress that would go into my maybe selections.

“Your soon to be mother-in-law is here. She’s mafia royalty,” Asia stated.

“How do you know?” I asked.

“I spoke to my men about the Pituccos,” she whispered.

Tori and Simone flipped through dresses on either side of us so they could ear hustle.

“She seemed pretty chill. She and my mother heard Catch and I in the shower earlier.”

The girls gasped.

“Don’t worry. He didn’t see me. He wore a blindfold. I was supposed to close my eyes, but I was a naughty girl and didn’t obey,” I snickered.

“That’s so fucking hot.” Simone fanned herself.

“Right!” I grinned.

“Anyway Mrs. Rizzo. I mean Laurena didn’t give off that stuck up vibe.” I held up a dress, then passed it to Tori. She hung it on an empty rack to our right.

“Girls, she’s a total badass. I heard she and her sister used to take their female enemies to their family bar and....” She glanced over her shoulder again to make sure no one was listening.

“And grind up their bodies,” Asia rushed out.

I shook my head. “That doesn’t make sense. Why would they have a meat grinder at a bar?”

“Romeo said they served food. And were known for grinding their own hamburger meat.” Asia examined a dress.

Tori covered her mouth in shock and retched. "You're telling me they put both people and animals through the same meat grinder?"

I chuckled. “Really Tori, that’s the part you have a problem with? After what we’ve done recently.

“Yeah, it grosses me out,” she snapped, her voice sharp with disgust.

“Girls, they had two meat grinders. One was for ground chuck the other...” Asia peered between us. “You catch my drift?”

We nodded.

“And to take things a step further she’d hand deliver her enemy’s family a package with a body part inside.” Asia lightly clapped her hands.

“That’s such a boss move,” Tori added.

Glancing over my shoulder, I watched Laurena converse with my mother. It was like they were old friends. Who was I to rain on my mother’s parade? It wasn’t like they’d play tennis together.
