I opened the door wider, a small creak alerted her to my presence I was sure but she didn’t move. Her shoulders tensed but she took another drink of her whiskey rather than acknowledge me.

“Don’t you understand the term get out?” she asked, still keeping her head turned away from me.

“You don’t really want me to go.”

I sat down on the edge of the tub and looked down at her. The water was milky, probably filled with some girly shit to make her smell amazing, but it was also covering her bits I’d very much like to see again.

“Oh, really and why is that?”

“You need me, Pres.”

“Why do you assume that?”

“You can’t run Sydney without my help.”

“I can do a lot more than you think, Lennie.”

“Let me have your back.”

“I have someone watching my back,” she replied quickly. “I haven’t seen you in ten years. Why would I trust you to have my back?”

It was a valid question, one I know I should have a better answer to, but I didn’t. “I know you probably have your reservations about me, but I don’t harbor you any ill will, Pres. I still love you.”

“Love?” she scoffed, downing the last of her drink and putting the glass down. “We weren’t in love, I didn’t even know myself back then. I am not that girl anymore, Lennon. Don’t pretend to know what I’ve been through and I won’t pretend to know what you went through in Frostgate.”

Surprised, I tried not to show it. My time in Frostgate was horrendous, mainly because Gideon had decided to put me in with all the old cartel men who I’d worked for and betrayed when I ran to Gideon’s organization. “Who told you?”

“I needed to know something; I found out.”

“It wasn’t pleasant but it’s been less than a happy place for your brother.”

“Chance?” she asked. “You knew he was locked up?”

“I did. I’ve been to see him a few times.”

“Why is he inside?”

“I can take you to see him if you want.”

She stayed silent, probably trying to figure out if it was worth keeping me around.

“Why are you here?” she burst out, frustration taking over.

“I told you why I’m here, why is it so hard to believe that I want to be here to protect you.”

“I’ve had my own back for years, Lennon, I told you I don’t need you and I don’t. Get the fuck out.”

“There could be something I could help you with,” I told her, lowering my hand into the hot water. My hand found her knee and I moved my fingers down her silky thigh. She didn’t stop me, but her eyes were ice cold. I moved closer, my fingers touching the softness of her. She was biting her bottom lip but didn’t move away from me.

That was permission enough. I moved my finger down her folds and in between them, encircling her entrance. The water moved as she braced herself on the bottom of the tub. Running my finger up over her little button of nerves, I began to circle it with pressure. Presley was trying everything she could to not moan, but I could see it in her eyes.

I was getting to her, but my arm was cramping at this level. I stood, leaving her on edge based on the way she was watching my every move. She grabbed my arm and hauled me into the tub with her. I hit my knee on the way in and it throbbed like crazy, I was sure it was bleeding but didn’t care.

She put her pretty hand on my head and pushed me under, down to her pussy. I made quick work of her and reached out to lick her up and down. The mixture of hot water and my tongue had her body moving, her thighs trying to lock me into position. I struggled for air, but I knew the faster I made her come, the faster I could rise. I worked at her clit and pushed a finger into her, working my tongue and finger together, I could feel her tense up.

But I needed air more.

I moved up for air, only to see her icy cold eyes staring at me. Those eyes would shoot daggers if I stayed up for too long. She shoved me back down and held me there as I continued what I had been doing. My lungs burned, my tongue was sore, and my fingers were cramping but I slammed into her. Her nails dug into my scalp as she ground against my mouth. When I thought I’d pass out, she pulled me up and I sat against the tub wall trying to breathe properly.
