All the club stayed for pizza, and we planned the delivery for the next day for the studio equipment. Star said she had put an advert in the window at Lizzie’s and on an online job site. I was feeling anxious at having to interview people, but Star assured me they would help with that. In the meantime, I needed to practice my tattooing again. It had been so long I worried I had forgotten how to do it.
Everyone leaves, apart from Acid and Scar. I was hoping I would get a least a day where I could avoid this situation, but apparently not. I close the door behind everyone and sigh, turning around to see Scar and Acid sat on the couch, both looking at me. Jesus.
Oliver comes out of his room. “Do I have to have a shower? I’m at the final boss!” he protests.
“Yes, you do. Go, now,” I order, turning him into the bathroom. I shut the door and wait for the sound of the shower to turn on before I make my way over to the couch for the most awkward conversation of my entire life.
I stand there in front of them. Both are looking at me, each with a glint in their eyes. I sit down in front of them on the coffee table Star said I just had to have. “Okay, I would just like to say that I have never in my life been in this situation before. I have never ever had 2 guys like me, let alone want what you both want.” I pause. “So, I’m just going to verbalise everything that is on my mind,” I state, looking at both of them. They each give a nod of their heads for me to continue. “So, here goes. I like both of you, and I think you are both incredibly attractive. I also had a great time the other night. From what I can gather, you both want an open relationship with me, but not all together like the other night. I can’t help but feel that if we were to do this, I would feel like I’m cheating on the other, even though it’s not if we do this.” I pause to take a breath, wiping my sweaty palms down my jeans. “To add where I’m at, I have no bloody idea,” I state honestly. “My body is willing. Boy, you guys have woken something in me I didn’t even know existed, so for that, I thank you.” I smile. “But I’m not ready for any relationship,” I state.
Acid sits forward, cutting me off. “No one is asking for a relationship, sweetheart.”
Sweetheart. He’s never called me that before. I kind of like it.
“Scar and I agree,” Acid continues. “We enjoyed the other night, but we both want you all to ourselves. We don’t see it as anything other than a pre-arranged hook up. As soon as things change for you, or for us, we stop.”
I bite down on my bottom lip. My stomach is churning with a mixture of excitement and anxiety. “No feelings involved. Justsex,” I clarify. They both nod in agreement. “You can’t be here when Oliver is here, and I would rather no one at the club knows about this,” I add. My leg starts jigging up and down with nervous anxiety. I know I could say no at any point, and they would respect that. The anxiety within me is because this is new to me, and because of these men—any man—wanting me like that. Respecting me, being kind to me is completely new territory for me. “Oliver is to never know, and um, if you are with anyone else, please wrap up. I know we didn’t use anything,” I say, gesturing to Acid. “But I just think it would be better going forward.” I cough, clearing my throat as I feel my cheeks heating.
Scar holds out his hand. “Give me your phone,” he demands. I hand him my phone, watching as he types in some stuff, then hands it back to me. “You have my number, so you can call me whenever you want to hook up.”
Acid nods. “You’ve got mine, and the same goes for me too.” I hear the shower switch off and I jump to my feet.
“Er, I’m going to get him to bed now.” I smile.
They both stand. “We will leave you to it,” Acid says. Leaning forward, he places a lingering kiss on my cheek.
“Night, darlin’,” Scar adds, kissing me on the other cheek.
I clear my throat and smile, seeing them to the door. “Happ is sat out front on night watch,” Acid states.
“Okay, thanks.” I smile. “Bye.” I close the door and let out a long sigh. As I lean against the door, a foreign feeling swims in the pit of my stomach. I can’t tell if it’s nerves of anticipation about the arrangement, or if it’s my gut warning me that this will be a big mistake.
CHAPTER TWENTY-ONE
ACID
Scarand I decide to sit at the bar and have a chat. Although the arrangement had been made with Rhea, there were a few things we both wanted to discuss ourselves.
“So, how are we doing this so that we don’t piss each other off?” I ask as I take a sip of my beer.
He shrugs. “We agree to not take up all her free time and make sure it’s equal on both sides. We both care about her. She ain’t no bunny, so we’ve got to respect that.”
“I know she ain’t no fucking bunny,” I snap. Unlike my other brothers, I was pickier when it came to the women I slept with. Part of me knew it was to do with my past, but I chose to ignore and pretend to myself that I was more thoughtful in who I chose.
Scar pauses, picking at the label on his beer bottle. “If you’re going to do your shit with her, you’ll need to tread carefully,” Scar warns.
I sigh. Since bunnies didn’t stick to one man, the brothers knew my preferences in the bedroom. The main one being I liked control; they were never on top, and they could touch me only when I said they could. I’m sure a shrink would fucking cream their pants with my issues.
“I know. I will take it easy.” I nod. “I know you like her more than a casual fuck,” I state, eying him, watching his reaction at my words.
Scar shrugs. “I don’t know, it’s a feeling. I care about her more than I would a bunny. I know one fucking thing. I need more than that taste of her.” He groans.
My lips twitch. “I know what you mean.”
“This is fucking weird, right? Even for us,” Scar states, smiling.
I nod and laugh. “Oh yeah, it’s weird as fuck. It feels different compared to when we’ve shared bunnies.”
Scar nods. “Maybe it’s because we respect her?” He shrugs.
