Ghost smiles. “Because if you don’t, I will cut your fingers off one by fucking one. Then I will cut your tongue out and shove it up your buddy’s ass.” Ghost nods his head in the direction of the other security guy.
When the guy still doesn’t step out of the way, Rage steps forward, pulling something out of his pocket. He holds it out to the guy and says something to him in a low voice that none of us can hear. Suddenly, the guys step aside for us to enter the club.
“What did you say to him?” I ask Rage.
He shrugs. “Just that I needed hazel eyes for my collection, and would I be able to have them when he dies. Then I showed him the pair of green ones I have in my pocket.” He pulls out a pair of green eyes, showing me.
“You’re fucking terrifying,” I state.
Rage just shrugs, not bothered in the slightest. As we enter the club, I catch the appreciative glances from women as we pass them by. I look up and spot the roped off area, but it’s empty. I scan the club and that’s when I spot Star. I go to alert Ghost, but he’s already spotted her. Beast found Belle sitting at the bar eating some olives, and Dixie is the one to find Rage. She jumps in his arms, and he doesn’t wait around. He leaves immediately with her, not saying a word. I know he hates places with too many people in.
“There.” Scar points and my eyes follow to wear he’s pointing. I see Rhea dancing with some guy’s hands on her hips. She sways her hips to the music, unaware that another guy iscoming up behind her. Both men are smiling at each other as they cage her in on the dance floor. “You see it?” Scar asks.
“Yeah,” I answer. “Now,” I add as I storm through the crowd with Scar by my side. Both the guys notice us approaching and swiftly move away. Rhea opens her eyes and when she sees us, she smiles, still dancing. “Time to go home,” I whisper in her ear.
She pouts. “Will you or Scar give me an orgasm?’ She asks. I blink in surprise and Scar just smirks.
“I’d be happy to oblige,” he tells her. Her eyes flare with excitement.
“Let’s just get you back,” I say, ending the conversation. Taking her hand in mine, I lead her out of the club. It’s not until we are outside that I see everyone else sat on their bikes, waiting. “Get on,” I order.
She frowns. “At the front?”
“You’ve been drinking. It’s safer this way. Just keep your head against my shoulder,” I tell her. I look over to Scar who has somehow managed to pick up some random girl. He smirks as we all ride back to the club.
Once back at the club, the women continue to party. They tell the prospects to make them cocktails, and we all just stand with our own drinks watching them.
Bambi and Happ approach us, and Ghost stands up straighter, a pissed off look on his face. “You were tasked with watching them,” he snaps.
“We did. We told you where they were going,” Happ points out.
“You did, but at no fucking point did you tell me they were out dressed like that alone with no protection,” Ghost fumes.
“We were watching them. No harm would have come to them. We would have made sure of that,” Happ asserts.
Ghost’s eyes narrow on Bambi. “Where were you?” he seethes.
He avoids Ghost’s seething gaze. “I was...” He pauses. “I...” He pauses again.
“What’s the matter? You got a fucking stutter now?” Ghost barks.
“I was eating,” he answers.
“You were fucking eating,” Ghost repeats, his tone deadly.
“Yeah. I, I hadn’t eaten today, and when I saw the leftover food, I figured I could quickly grab some and get back to watching them on the dance floor,” he admits.
I look him over. He’s thin, pale, with dark circles under his eyes. “Pres,” I say, keeping my eyes on Bambi. Ghost looks to me, then back to Bambi, his eyes looking him over.
“Lift up your sleeves,” Ghost orders. Bambi frowns in confusion but does it. Ghost nods. He was looking for track marks. “Where are you living?” Ghost presses.
Bambi shrugs. “I was staying with a mate for a while, when I’m not here,” he answers.
“Queenie,” Ghost calls out. Queenie walks over, her assessing gaze flickering back and forth between Ghost and Bambi.
“Yeah, honey?” she asks.
“The single room at the back. Chuck some fresh sheets in there, would ya? Bambi is moving in,” Ghost tells her, his eyes on Bambi.
