Page 48 of Marigold Run

“Get off me,” I growl high in my throat, flashing my teeth. My harsh tone makes Hutch snarl, and his grip on my wrists tightens. My body instantly responds and slick gathers between my thighs.Dammit.

“Oh, my sweet Mari.” Izan struts into the room with Dassy not far behind.

Both alphas are shirtless, displaying trim waists and cut abs. Dassy’s tattoo is on full display, and the detail is amazing. The two snakes aren’t black, but a dark green, and they coil around a line of black roses with thorns dripping with blood. I stare at the curved lines, trying like hell to ignore the heavy alpha on top of me.

“Do you feel better?” Izan moves closer, so his big body towers over me. But I’m surprised by his expression. He doesn’t look angry. In fact, both he and Dassy look happy. Excited.

“Actually, I’m tired,” I say, trying to pull my wrists free, but Hutch squeezes again, making it clear that I’m not going anywhere. “I’d like to go to bed.” I narrow my eyes at Izan. “Alone,” I snap loudly.

“Don’t talk to your pack alpha like that,” Hutch snarls in my ear, and I turn to face him. He looks so possessive and powerful hovering over me. “You need to speak with respect.” His blue eyes drift over every inch of my face. “Now, are you done being a brat?”

Clenching my jaw, I tip my chin up. “Are you?” I should be scared of his reaction, but for some reason I’m not. In fact, I’m more curious than anything else. What does it take to really piss off these alphas?

“Watch it, omega.” Hutch’s tone is a warning. “You don’t want to be punished.” His tongue swipes over his lower lip. Hewants to kiss me. I can see it in his eyes. And I hope he does. I want him to press his mouth to mine, and slip his tongue between my lips, so I can bite it clean off.

“Get off of me,” I demand, trying to pull my hands from his grip. They don’t even move an inch. “I don’t want you—” Without any warning, Hutch crashes his lips to mine.

I’m too shocked at first, scared that Izan will rip the alpha off of me, and then beat him for touching me. I don’t want that. Not because I care about them, but because I hate it when alphas fight. It’s scary.

“Open,” Hutch whispers against my lips, and I do as I’m told. The second his tongue sweeps across mine, I lose all ability to think. Hutch’s kiss is intense and hard, tasting every inch of my mouth. I can’t hold in the moan trapped in my throat, and it erupts at the same time as a gush of slick pushes from my pussy. “Fuck.” Hutch breaks the kiss, scenting the air. “She’s ready, alpha.” He turns, looking up at Izan.

My lips are still parted as I loll my head to one side. I feel dizzy and lost inside my own body. My pussy aches and I arch my back, trying to pull Hutch back down on top of me.

“Everly is preparing my room,” Izan says to Hutch, but his intense green eyes are on me. “Let’s show our omega what it means to belong to a pack.”

Down the Hall

Mari

Ishould be screaming and fighting, but I don’t want to. It’s like the lust and desire coursing through my veins has paralyzed me, killing the urge to run, and replacing it with a deep need to please.

My body hangs limp on Hutch’s shoulder as he carries me through the house to Izan’s bedroom. The scent of candles hit my nose, followed by Everly’s soft lavender aroma.

The beta stands at the foot of the bed. Her plaid pajamas are gone, replaced by a sexy black nighty. It compliments her lean figure well. It shows off her long legs and the slight curve of her breasts, but her face is too innocent for the outfit. Her rounded cheeks and black-rimmed glasses make her look like a little girl, playing dress up in her mother’s clothes.

“You look gorgeous.” Izan moves to Everly, kissing her deeply as Hutch carries me to the massive bed. The comforter is gone and there’s only a single white sheet and a few pillows.

Hutch tosses me onto the bed. I bounce, unable to move. In the past, when my body locked up, my mind would instantly drift—I’d go to a safe place while my body endured. But right now, I can’t do anything other than stare up at the identical alphas standing over me.

“You need to taste her lips,” Hutch says to his brother.

Dassy’s usually playful demeanor is completely gone. His expression is dark and hungry—his pupils blown wide as they dart all over my face.

“Omega,” Dassy growls deep in his chest. He places one knee on the bed, then another. The mattress dips as he slowly moves over me. My body is primed, slick soaking through my shorts, but my mind is a mess.

“Don’t hurt me,” I say, holding up my trembling hands.

“What?” Shock and sadness pull at the corners of Dassy’s eyes. “Never.” He rests one elbow next to my head. I’m trapped. His massive body hovers above me, and his arms cage my face. I squeeze my eyes shut tight, trying like hell to concentrate on my breathing.

“Mari,” Izan says my name, and my head snaps to the side. I look right at the alpha standing at the foot of the bed, waiting for him to speak. “Relax.” The single word is a gentle command. “Dassy won’t hurt you. None of us will. Breathe, omega.”

My body pulls in a full breath of air, then slowly pushes it out.

“Good girl. Do it again,” Izan says and I obey. “Now open your legs.”

He takes a single step as if to move around the bed, and I blurt out, “No.”

Izan freezes. In fact, everyone does. Dassy, Hutch, Everly, and Izan are all looking at me, eagerly waiting for me to speak. It’s a subtle shift in the room, but it means everything. They’re all listening to me.
