He kisses me deeply and I sigh, feeling his heart soar as we connect.~I love you, mate. ~

~I love you, too, baby. ~I rub my nose along his jaw, unable to keep a huge grin from spreading across my face.

He laughs and rubs his hand over my tummy. “We’re going to have a finger Sandwich.”

I giggle, ruffling his hair affectionately. “Silly clone.”

“I promise I won’t eat it. Well, unless it irritates me.” His eyes twinkle and I swat him.

“I know you’ll be a wonderful dad. I’m going to be all roly poly and huge.”

Grinning wickedly, he whispers, “That should get interesting, what with the stompy.”

I stick my tongue out, glaring. “I’ll be all jiggly, too.”

“You’ll be beautiful,” he says, touching his heart to mine. His expression grows devilish as he puffs up. “I’ll be the manly man, handing out cigars while you sweat out the pain.”

Gaze narrowed, I send a picture of him with cigars stuffed in interesting places as he hobbles about on bloodied stumps. Snorting, he counters with a picture of him with me through it all, fingers cracking as I squeeze his hand during contractions.

“Better?”

Nodding, I lean up to kiss his chin. Suddenly, something occurs to me and I giggle. “Taurus is your daddy.”

He groans and rolls his eyes. Chuckling, he rubs his hand over my tummy absently. “I’m still reeling.”

I trace my fingers over his chest and nod. “Oh, yeah. It’s not a bad thing, though.”

“Other end of the spectrum, baby,” he sifts his fingers through my hair.

I kiss him gently. “Just big and wonderful.”

Taurus looks shy as he whispers, “I was afraid you’d not…” He shrugs self-consciously. “I didn’t want to say how much I liked the idea earlier.” I tilt my head, listening as he rubs my tummy idly. “When I thought of you with a little us inside...”

“Ditto, baby.”

He shrugs, covering the shyness with an evil grin. “Don’t worry; I’ll still shag you when you’re big and round.”

I smack his chest and huff. “Ass.”

“Mmm, but I’m your ass, baby.”

“Always,” I grin up at him.

He looks down at me, waggling his brows. “I guess we should get moving on that donation, hmm? Can’t make a mini-kitty without it.”

Eyes sparkling happily, I nod and lean up to nip at his scars with blunt teeth. “I think the phrase you were looking for was ‘now, where were we?’”

“Abso-bloody-lutely,” he murmurs, lowering his body onto mine and burying his face in my neck with a rumbling growl. “We can’t be wasting a second.”

The Writer Formulates A Plan

WILDE

“Ibelieve that if I approach him correctly, beloved, it will work.”

She looks over at me, her face full of doubt. “I don’t know, honey. I know you’ve always fancied a go at her. Just because she let Taurus out with the kitty doesn’t mean she’s ready to rock.”

I huff. My beloved doesn’t see the brilliance of this plan, only the fallout. I am far less concerned with that aspect; once I get what I desire, our lives will be so much better.
