“Old acquaintances of mine. They heard I was ill and wanted to see how I was doing.”

“Well, it’s time for them to go.”

The men looked at the cold bitch and understood why Franklin was trying to protect his daughters.

“Thank you for coming, gentlemen. It was nice to see you again after so long.”

Casen shook Franklin’s hand. “You, too. I hope you get well soon.”

The other two said their goodbyes. They bowed to Eldora and walked out. They glanced at each other when they heard Eldora ask Franklin about the packet in Casen’s hands.

“It was a land deal they wanted to discuss with me.”

“Well, I hope you told them you were much too sick and dying to deal with anything like that.”

“I did, dear.”

“How did Franklin end up with that bitch?” Rafael murmured in disgust.

Rowan shrugged. “I heard she used to be pretty and was sweet at the beginning. Her true colors came out a few years into the marriage.”

“Gentlemen, I will show you out.”

The three nodded to the butler and followed behind him.

“You all have a good day.”

The three waved and slid into the limo that had picked them up.

“Open the packet,” Rafael said to Casen.

There were three different envelopes—one for each with their names on them. Inside were instructions on where to goand which daughter they were getting. There was a picture and a short bio about each girl.

Rafael held up the picture. “They truly are beautiful women.”

The other two picked up their pictures. They sat quietly as they went over the information. Each of them was lost in their own thoughts about what they had gotten themselves into.

They had promised their friend, and they wouldn’t go back on it.

Chapter One

Her name was Faith.

Rafael reviewed the information repeatedly on the way to the hotel where they would stay for a few days.

Faith was one of the most beautiful women he’d ever seen. She looked incredibly dainty in the picture as she stood against a large tree in a little pink dress and smiled at the camera. The car pulled into the underground parking and stopped at the elevator. The driver turned around. “This is where you get out. The instructions on what to do next are in the envelopes.”

Rafael nodded and stepped out of the car.

The three men waited until the driver had left, walked out a side door of the parking lot, and found the hotel where they were supposed to stay. Rafael thought the clandestine behavior was a little much, but if it made Franklin feel better, they would do it.

They walked into the back door and took a service elevator up to the sixth floor. They each had a key to the suite, but only Casen took his out and unlocked the door.

The men walked in and looked around. It was a huge, nice room. They would definitely be comfortable for the short time they’d be there.
