I noticed a tablet attached to the back of the seat that already had my baby’s favorite show cued up.
Shaking my head, I got in the car and buckled my seat belt. This man was going to spoil our baby. I just hoped it didn’t break my child’s heart when his father left.
I woke up eager as hell to start the day. I wanted to soak up as much time as I could with Osiris and spend time with his mother as well.
I planned a whole day with the two of them, and I hoped they enjoyed it. I hadn’t told my parents about Osiris yet, but I wanted to talk to Wynter about introducing him and her to them at the end of the day. Maybe I could take everyone to dinner. Wynter needed to meet my parents just as much as my son. I wasn’t sure how long I would be in the States, but I wanted my parents to be able to see him and build a relationship with him, even when I wasn’t around.
When Wynter answered the door, I couldn’t take my eyes off her. The way her jeans hugged her ass and hips did something to me. If it weren’t for Little O, I would have tried my best to slide back inside of her.
I glanced at Little O in the mirror as I drove to the diner so we could have breakfast. I still couldn’t believe I had a son that looked just like me.
“Did you happen to post your review yet?” Wynter asked.
I looked over at her, sitting comfortably in the passenger seat.
“Maybe. Maybe not. I guess you’ll have to wait and see.” I smirked.
She hit my arm. “Si, don’t do that. Tell me, please. I hope my running away like that didn’t change anything.”
I took my eyes off the road to glance at her again. “Not at all.”
I wasn’t going to tell her when the review would be posted. I wanted her to have fun and not let work consume her.
“I won’t ask since you won’t tell me anyway.” She folded her arms across her breasts and pouted.
I chuckled and tapped her chin. “You’ll find out soon enough.”
We arrived at the diner, and I found a place to park near the front. After shutting my car off, I got out, then opened the door for Wynter.
“Such a gentleman. Thank you,” Wynter said when she stepped out of the car.
“You’re welcome.” I opened the back door and helped Little O get out of his seat.
The diner wasn’t crowded, so we were seated quickly.
“Daddy, I sit by you.”
“It’s daddy, can I sit by you?”
Wynter smiled and slid into the booth.
“Daddy, can I sit by you?” He struggled a little with the sentence, but he managed to get it out.
“Good job, and yes, you can.”
He clapped his hands and climbed into the booth when I put him down.
A few minutes later, the waitress came over and took our orders.
While we waited, I wanted Wynter and I to have a conversation.
“I don’t think I’ve said it yet, but I apologize for not trying to find a better way to communicate with you when I left. I also should have been more careful with you. We never used protection, and I don’t know if it’s ignorance or not, but I acted like you couldn’t get pregnant or something.”
“Thank you. We both could have been more careful.” She smiled, and her left dimple was on full display.
It was always funny to me how she had a dimple but only one side. She said her mom only had one, but hers was on the opposite side. I hadn’t noticed if Osiris had one too.
“Look, Daddy.” I looked up when he pushed his tablet near my face.
